Who would Jesus Bomb?

I had "Who Would Jesus Bomb?" painted on the back window of my little pick up and I couldn't believe how many responses I got that said Jesus would bomb Iraq.
I took it off.
My question is this. Was I wrong in doing this?
Would putting "Did Jesus Die so we could kill?" be wrong? It sure seems to get folks a thinking.
I just might get some bumper stickers made up.

It was a strange sensation to read the comments of people who consider themselves church going christians wanting Jesus obliterating populations for them. I don't know that Jesus has the authority to bomb anyone. That's God's ballgame...I'm not even christian and I know which one is in charge. Seems a lot of christians spend too much time worshiping and praising Jesus, who himself could be considered a false god in that sense, along with the mother Mary that catholics spend all their time worshiping and praying to (blatant disregard for the ten commandments ), but to each his own. It matters not what anyone believes in my eyes, as long as they are a good, peaceful soul that believes and strives to protect equal liberties for each person born to this earth. I must also say that amongst our christian members at this ministry you don't find ANY of the hypocrisy usually associated with christian followers. One of the many reasons I like this place and the people here.

However, to answer the question this thread started over, God flooded the entire planet last time he got pissed off, and the next time, he's going to burn it all to hell, hehe. He even said so....and people often ask me why my religion doesn't contain any deities??

Yup, ever notice how some will say "do you know Jesus?" Well, what does it matter if you know Jesus. Here in the south a lot of christians have directed their religion towards Jesus. They pray to Jesus, worship Jesus, give thanks to Jesus for everything. Heck, the whole reason Jesus came to earth is to teach people about God....Remember, "there are no other god's before me" and that means Jesus too! Jesus is not God, merely his son. Come to think of it....if Jesus is God's son...he would be everyone else's brother because we are God's children, or so the story goes! Hanging Jesus' picture all around your house and praying to crucifixes could be dangerously leading some down the wrong path of worshiping something other than the one, the only, the almighty, GOD!

Funny thing is, a lot of christians don't even notice the blatant discrepancy...I try to tell em, if you pray to Jesus, you're going to hell the bible says so!

One of my largest problems with going to church today. They all pray to and worship Jesus. Don't get me wrong. I love Jesus and am very thankful that he did what he did. But no way am I going to give praises to any one except God the Father. I also have had a problem with the cross. Personally I don't like the image of the tool used to torture and eventually help kill the son of God hanging around. Especially ones with Jesus still hanging on it.
No worships to Jesus's mother Mary either. But I do believe in thanking God every day for the birth of Jesus through the mother Mary.
The more I study this drug war, been at it 23 years now. I am seeing that those who demonize Cannabis are the true anti-christs.
I am very spiritual, but Cannabis is my religion.

Jesus, as a historical figure, wouldnt even know what a bomb was, let alone how to work it.

Personally, I think Jesus would bomb the vatican for all the lies they have told on him.

Imagine if our religion takes off, and hundreds of years from now, our message gets so twisted by another group of people who have nothing to do with us, and in our name, they create war and oppression.

then, we came back, and had a chance to bomb someone. I think the choice would be clear cut, although my vote would be for an old school ass whuppin instead of a bomb.

Pagan answer: "Sure. Why should HE be left out?"

Makes good sense to me. After all, we are ALL the offspring/offshoots of WHATEVER-IT-IS...
