| For those out there that think I can't aford to donate X$ a month. Wel let me ask you this. What do you do every month that costs X$. For me it was an online video game subscription that I played. I decided that keeping the ministry runing was more importent. SO now every month that X$ for my entertainment now gets donated to the ministry. IS there some small thing you could give up so you could donate 5$ to the ministry. Is it a lack of convinence that you dont make the donation? Most banks now offer online banking and you can set up automatic regular donations. Give it a try. it is easy and simple to do. |

Thank you for chipping in!
That's it exactly!
Can't you cut out one pack of cigarettes?
Or save roughly 17 cents per day!
Come now!
If you saved 25 cents out of all your daily purchases you would come out to $5 in 20 days.
Come now! |

Hey there....
I'm brand spankin' new to this forum, I was invited by a new friend I made on-line. I've only read through a few of the threads but I already know that this is a place worth supporting. I would love to be able to set up an auto-pay to donate monthly.
Peace-

If you want to make money you got to think like a bussiness. First off, the kits are way over priced. Hear me out on this. Say we sell hoodys with the ministrys logo on them and throw in the kits for free. We sell them for 75$ a piece and make a profit of 30 or so dollars off each one. It may not seem like that much compared to the money one ministry kit brings in now, but you may only sell ten to fifteen of those a month. The hoodys, you can sell fifty of them in a day.
Imagine setting up a stand outside a concert. Offer people a free ordination into the thc ministry with every purchase. Give them an id card, some plant tags, and information on how to use the ministrys website as well as get ordained with the ulc.
This would accomplish two things. It would make a lot of money for the ministry and the person manning the booth, and would also get a conversion to our religion with every purchase, which in turn gets hits for the website, which translates into add dollars later.
If anyone here thinks you cant make a shit load of dough doing this outside a gratefull dead concert, you must either be really ugly or smell really bad. Take half of what you make and send it back to Roger for the use of the free kits.
We could have a website that sell this merchandise witht he kits as well, and give members incentive to help get the word out by giving them coupon numbers to give to people so they can get 10% off or whatever and the member who made the refferal would be given a portion of that sale.
My point here is there are smart ways to make money and stupid ways. If it is money we want, we should do something smart.
EDIT: If you guys decide to use my ideas, I want in dammit. _________________ www.shoutwire.com

Zero, those are wonderful ideas.
I wish a few of us could gather in one place and get to work.
There are very few of us "movers" in this bunch. |

I'm waiting for Roger's response here.
Is there a problem with Paypal?
It is kind of like those who get a credit card or shop at Rent a Center.
They will gladly pay LESS in the short run, even though they end up paying MORE in the long run.
I'm hoping this ministry is in it, for the LONG run.
The ministry needs all the funding it can get and your measely, $5 per month that you spend on porn, weed, cigarettes, socks, whatever......
is going to a very strong cause, and a CLEARLY dedicated individual.
This thread bumps until I hear from Roger. |

"There are very few of us "movers" in this bunch."
Hello friends and guests,
Aloha. PayPal has a reputation for snitching to the D.E.A. on some pro-Cannabis websites and people, a very bad thing. They have personally been fair to me so I know that we have passed their 'screening', a very good thing.
I'm a fulltime activist and advocate for Cannabis liberation, mostly through this ministry. It feels great to me - I'm in my comfort-zone when I'm on the 'offensive' against the forces of prohibition. My personal energy and activism, however, has exceeded the comfort-zone of most folks, even Cannabis people.
We attract some nice and sincere sacramental enjoyers of Cannabis to this ministry. A very few donate to our cause. Most just want some paperwork to help protect their personal and private Cannabis activities and don't want to be noticed in any way, or on a list, etc. I totally respect their decision.
John, you're right, there are very few 'movers' in the ministry, financially, legally, or otherwise. God, that's GREAT! Please show me the blessings in this situatuion ... and hurry!
Fortunately we DO have some wonderful participants on our website forums to the point that we have an entire encyclopedia of knowledge - already - online. God bless our forum posters! Mahalo plenty.
I am 24/7 ready and willing to fly and travel, to speak, testify, sue, etc. to move this ministry into the glorious future. I could use some facility ($) to do the work. Simple. Direct. Easy. You see what I (we) have already accomplished on a tight budget. Imagine what we can do with a significant budget. As one example, we can provide a religious defense to prosecution to virtually EVERY sincere Cannabis enjoyer in the world!!!
If you would like to be a more helpful part of this scenario, look around your world. Do you have an old car to sell? An extra television in the attic to cash-out and donate? Please use your imagination and let's get going. It's Springtime. Let's spring-forth and go!
All the very best to you,
Roger

Good post, but, what about Paypal and setting up a THC Ministry donation account? Yea or Nea?
As for the spring fling idea, I have a better or equivalent plan, but I think it would be better suited in the Creative section. |

Excellent!
So, can we place this link at the top of the forums, and the top of THC Ministry websites?
Even guys like Zero, who has the marijuanax.com
Let's spread the link and the good word.
The only thing I would like to see added, is a $5 option. |
