Way Too many commercials(when they first started they were 24/7 news and nothing else)not enough true news
Way too much self admiration and again not enough acurate news reporting

I sometimes wonder what makes people think that the human race is even capable of destroying the earth. Sure, we could make it uninhabitable for us for a few centuries, but eventually it would heal itself and more life would form.

I agree with Z. What makes us humans think we can or even have the right to bring the "End Of The World". That sounds more like a Hollywood summer blockbuster to be directed by either Ron Howard or Spielberg.

I'm going to laugh my ass off when this backfires and people stop paying their mortgages and taxes claiming the 'CNN - End of the World defense'. This could end up as a liable sue against the fukkrs. Twisted Evil

I imagine it would sound something like this, "I'm sorry judge, but CNN, the leader in cable news, said it was the end of the world. They even had a panel of experts who said it was."

This could spiral out of control into a nationwide Jonestown.

I am simply frightened because I used to read Sci-Fi Novels when I was younger, they were never set in pleasant worlds. In most of the books we were Slaves, or Prisoners, or worse, I worry more about what will occur in the Future. It might soon be that the End of the World stuff will simply become a much sought after release from the Hell we are creating. Like a bedtime Fairytale told to little ones, "on day we will be delivered by a ...", like we can actually stop the crap when it becomes to uncomfortable for us to sit idlely by anymore. I think people are "putting the cart in front of the Horse". I see nothing but Stinkyness and muck ahead. Rolling Eyes

Hey did ya'll know, ( I have not tried it, but I have been assured it is true) that if you put a Frog into tepid water and slowly start to boil the water, the Frog will stay until he is boiled to death. However if you put the Frog into a hot pan, he will jump out. I wonder if we are acting like a Frog? Confused

I fear the hardship to come with the inevitable crash of our society. (see Rapa Nui) I also have faith that God values this speices we call human and will preserve a viable gene pool. I also know "a viable gene pool" is a frighteningly low number (144,000?).
