Hello out there,
Aloha. We need a forum for 'Big Brother' stuff to watch-out for. This is a BIG one for that catagory.
How do you spell, 'r-e-l-i-g-i-o-u-s e-x-e-m-p-t-i-o-n'? As far as I can tell, the only way to beat this MANDATORY mental health exam and forced MANDATORY mental health drugs will be a solid 'religious exemption'. Who 'owns' your body? You do, but only IF you have the right prayer and paperwork to go with it.
This is from two years ago. Any new news on this? Mahalo.
All the best to you,
Roger

The New Freedom Initiative (US): Ready To Be Tested?
http://www.masternewmedia.org/news/2004/07/16/the_new_freedom_initiative_us.htm
According to a Progress Report, The New Freedom Initiative is a new project announced by the White House to "help Americans with disabilities ...". But apparently, President Bush plans to unveil next month a sweeping mental health initiative that recommends screening for every citizen and promotes the use of expensive antidepressants and antipsychotic drugs. Under the initiative, every citizen of virtually every age, including preschool children, is to be screened for mental illness. Schools will be used as the screening centres for the 52 million kids and 6 million teachers who attend them.
Here is an excerpt from the Mental Health Commission report driving this initiative: "The Commission concluded that the mental health service delivery system in the United States must be substantively transformed. In the transformed system: 1) Americans understand that mental health is essential to overall health; 2) mental health care is consumer and family-driven; 3) disparities in mental health services are eliminated; 4) early mental health screening, assessment, and referral to services are common practice; 5) excellent mental health services are delivered and research is accelerated; and 6) technology is used to access mental health care and information.
The model for the New Freedom initiative is the TMAP, which stands for the Texas Medication Algorithm Project - that's right, the state that George used to govern, a project that first saw the light of day during his time in office there. TMAP promotes the use of the new, and more expensive, antidepressants and antipsychotic drugs, such as Zyprexa (olanzapine), which is Eli Lilly's best selling drug. It grossed $4.28bn in 2003, with 70 per cent of the revenues paid for by government agencies such as Medicare and Medicaid." Critics say the plan protects the profits of drug companies at the expense of the public. Will you pass George's mental health test?
* Remember; the root word for 'pharmaceutical' is 'sorcery'. Really.
What's one thing the Bible warns about the 'end days'? 'Nations will be fooled/ruled by the sorcerers' (pharmaceuticals).

|
|
A-1 Noun Strong's Number: 5331 Greek: pharmakia[-eia]
(Eng., "pharmacy," etc.) primarily signified "the use of medicine, drugs, spells;" then, "poisoning;" then, "sorcery," Gal 5:20, RV, "sorcery" (AV, "witchcraft"), mentioned as one of "the works of the flesh." See also Rev 9:21; 18:23. In the Sept., Exd 7:11,22; 8:7,18; Isa 47:9,12.
In "sorcery," the use of drugs, whether simple or potent, was generally accompanied by incantations and appeals to occult powers, with the provision of various charms, amulets, etc., professedly designed to keep the applicant or patient from the attention and power of demons, but actually to impress the applicant with the mysterious resources and powers of the sorcerer.

Good!
Hello friends and visitors,
Aloha. This thread is extremely interesting for a few reasons. One is the reflection that we are CERTAINLY being examined by 'the authorities' (and unknown others) on a continual, and an occassional basis. It sure feels great to me to be (as much as possible) in integrity with life and nature, with law enforcement on every level, and with the spirit and the letter of the U.S. Constitution.
We've obviously passed some crucial tests so far, whatever they are. Pay Pal is one test. The D.E.A. is another. The vice cops and Attorneys General of MANY U.S. states have certainly examined us under their microscopes. We're STILL going! Hallelujah! I don't personally feel any 'heat' from the law. It's all quite good for us, really.
The Attorney General of the U.S.A., John Ashcroft, was sued by us at the height of his political power. We even included the Administrator of the D.E.A., Karen Tandy, and our Hawai'i Federal Prosecutor as our defendants; a very clear demonstration of our sincerity, our legitimacy and our go-power!
As life progresses I trust that we, as individuals and as a ministry, will develop and grow appropriately with the principles, values, ethics, morals and character traits that pass the high standard tests of time.
Thank you for your participation in this fascinating journey of personal discovery and cultural evolution.
All the very best to you and yours,
Roger
