Vets report pets on marijuana
LONDON, Nov. 11 (UPI) -- A British survey says 50 of 100 veterinarians contacted report treating pets for cannabis consumption.
Although dogs are the most likely to be affected, the survey says cats and a budgerigar (an Australian parakeet) have become casual users of marijuana, the Telegraph of London said.
Many of the vets surveyed by the insurers Petplan said they had treated pets that appeared to be suffering adverse effects after eating or inhaling "soft" drugs. It was not clear if the drugs had been accidentally consumed or deliberately fed to animals.
There were no reports of fatalities but the animals suffered sideeffects such as vomiting, dizziness and temporary loss of movement.
Some had been given paracetamol or contraceptive pills and monitored to ensure no vital organs failed.

People panic when their pet eats marijuana and can't walk. It's as if marijuana actually causes harm. No, your pet is just very stoned and would like to take a nap. |

So true.
However, stand by for a slurry of "news" reports concerning the alarming increase in marijuana-related Veterinary Emergency Room visits...
...followed by a clarion call for legislation requiring the set-up of mandatory Veterinary Rehab Clinics. Soon, li'l Fluffy will be a coffee-addicted 12-Step Zombie...

My dog, Sheila, a Fox Terrier X Staffishire Terrier cross, who passed away couple of years back.
Sheila actually got really stoned.
Wasn't my fault....lol I left a plate of cookies on the table while I was answering the door.
I came back with a friend that I opened the door for, and find the plate of cookies half missing...... like about 10-12 cookies gone. Sheila must have jumped on the chair and grabbed a "several"... bloodly bitch
Thought myself.... OH FUCK! because I made 20 cookies with 30 grams of average cannabis buds... yes extremely utterly potent and lethal dose that only half cookie was plenty for myself. Because I smimmered the Butter for ages with pot, because back then, I was experimenting on making "lethal cookies".
ABout 90 minutes later..... she was on the floor, breathing very very slow, just practially wasted and smashed as fart, eyes sort of going funny as if you really dizzy. Her tongue was sticking out sideways. Just can't walk and she pissed herself.
I was kinda worried.... because of the potency of these cookies and the size of the dog and the amount she consumed......
So swallowed my pride, hide all my stash and other stuff out of my house just in case the vet reported to the RSPCA or some animal protection shit or cops for animal crulety, while I wasn't cruel to my dog, I loved her to bits.....
So took her to the vet... and the vet automaticlly knew what was the problem was before I even I opened my mouth, seems the vet has seen plenty fo stoned pets in his time. He just put her on drip to keep her hyrated, and some other shit to stop her from feeling dizzy and havin some kind of loose bowel/bladder.
12 hours later... she was fine, just bit slow for couple of days...... _________________ "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts.
