Robertson calls for assassination of Chavez
Televangelist calls Venezuelan president a ‘terrific danger’ to U.S.

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Religious broadcaster Pat Robertson called on Monday for the assassination of Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, calling him a “terrific danger” to the United States.
Robertson, founder of the Christian Coalition of America and a former presidential candidate, said on “The 700 Club” it was the United States’ duty to stop Chavez from making Venezuela a “launching pad for communist infiltration and Muslim extremism.”
Chavez has emerged as one of the most outspoken critics of President Bush, accusing the United States of conspiring to topple his government and possibly backing plots to assassinate him. U.S. officials have called the accusations ridiculous.
“You know, I don’t know about this doctrine of assassination, but if he thinks we’re trying to assassinate him, I think that we really ought to go ahead and do it,” Robertson said. “It’s a whole lot cheaper than starting a war ... and I don’t think any oil shipments will stop.”
Electronic pages and a message to a Robertson spokeswoman were not immediately returned Monday evening.
Venezuela is the fifth largest oil exporter and a major supplier of oil to the United States. The CIA estimates that U.S. markets absorb almost 59 percent of Venezuela’s total exports.
Tense relations
Venezuela’s government has demanded in the past that the United States crack down on Cuban and Venezuelan “terrorists” in Florida who they say are conspiring against Chavez.
Robertson accused the United States of failing to act when Chavez was briefly overthrown in 2002.
“We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability,” Robertson said.
“We don’t need another $200 billion war to get rid of one, you know, strong-arm dictator,” he continued. “It’s a whole lot easier to have some of the covert operatives do the job and then get it over with.”

Robertson is one fucked up little monkey who should shut the hell up, climb back up his tree, and stick a banana in his pie hole. _________________ "Penalties against the possession of a drug

| Pat Robertson often prays that god "make something happen" to the Supreme Court Judges he doesn't like so that better judges can step in. |

Does the words "raving lunatic" ring a bell here?
Doesn't Robertson know that Chavez is democratically elected and very popular in his country? _________________ █ Please read the Board Rules and Posting, and you

Oh, well...
I've been advocating that Rev. Pat Robertson crawl up his own ass-hole and die, himself, for several decades now... _________________ "We are the Ones we have been waiting for."

Filing a Complaint with the FCC Is EASY
The FCC makes it convenient to file a complaint. Complaints can be filed electronically, by e-mail, by postal mail or by fax.
Pat Robertson of the Christian Broadcasting Network, and host of The 700 Club show on that network, has advocated illegal activity (The assassination of a duly elected president of a country with which we are not at war) and, in so doing, has advocated an act of terrorism in a public forum which is under the jurisdiction of the FCC.
You do NOT have to be a citizen of the United States, nor a resident of the United States to file a complaint with the FCC.
It's easy and can be done via email. If they have time to go after Howard Stern for "indecency" then they can certainly go after Rev. Pat for advocating murder.
BTW, the FCC is REQUIRED to investigate ALL complaints.

It occurred to me that since I am also a minister, maybe I could help the obviously backslidden Mr. robertson remember some of the basic principals that the founder of his faith had taught:
1) Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. (How would you like having Mr. Chavez send assination squads to help you meet your maker, Mr. robertson?)
2) Love your enemies. (That does not mean love them to death!)
3) Vengence is God's. (Not Bush's, nor Pat's, or any other person.)
4) Forgive and you shall be forgiven. (Pat, you're pretty old and you might want to start thinking about how you'll spend your eternal damnation for preaching hate.)
5) Take the log from your eye before you encourage the assination of another for the splinter in theirs. (I was paraphrasing.)
6) The greatest commandment of all it to love. (I have no clue how you think you can waltz into heaven if you disobey this one! Do you???)
And finally, on a lesser note, you, Pat robertson, will not be allowed into Great Britian as they have just conjured up another law that prohibits the preachers of hate from entering.

I'm a better guy than robertson and Im a total jackass.
Now, since he has such a big mouth, if Chavez is assassinated, he could be implicated in murder. Some crazy south americans are gonna snatch him up and take him to the jungle for a trial and when hes convicted they will throw coconuts at him until he runs off crying and gets eaten by a snake in the jungle.
then we will all live happily ever after. _________________ www.shoutwire.com

Chavez gains from assassination call
By The Associated Press
Thursday, August 25, 2005
CARACAS, Venezuela -- A call for the U.S. to assassinate Hugo Chavez is playing into the Venezuelan leader's political hands, bolstering his claim that Washington wants to kill him, putting him in the international limelight and probably boosting his popularity at home.
Chavez supporters said Wednesday the suggestion by religious broadcaster Pat Robertson that the United States should "take him out" gave credence to Chavez's warnings that the U.S. government is searching for ways to overthrow his leftist regime.
"If anyone had a doubt, now they no longer do," said Maritza Uzcategui, a 50-year-old nurse and Chavez supporter. "He's been saying they want to kill him."
U.S. officials called Robertson's on-air remarks inappropriate and repeated assurances that the United States is not considering killing Chavez despite its questions about his commitment to democracy and accusations he is spreading instability in Latin America.
