I think the first casualty inflicted by christians was when Peter attacked a servant of the romans when they came to arrest Jesus. It has escalated from there. Damn what a violent intolerant bunch of people.

What an ignorant bunch of people. I like how they lie like hell to have a reason to be vindictive and kick the girl off the basketball team. So much for christian morals on that one.

Yep, it also was the Romans who invented Christianity and maybe that's what inspired them to kill pagans by burning them alive at the stake, torturing them (Christians have invented the most cruel torure machines, if you are ever in Amsterdam, vist the torture museum), drawning them, etc.

i realize that medieval and renaissance times in Europe were terrible with the Catholic (Read: Roman) Church doing all the terrible things you mentioned.

i am a Monotheist, a Christian, but of a philosophy that was thought heretical and directly against the trinity so they would've killed me too back then had i been living.

this makes me feel no ill to Christianity as a whole, rather, it makes me feel ill toward the Catholic Church, which has incorrect doctrines in my opinion.
