Hello everyone,
Aloha. How's it going?
I just received a phone call from a police officer in the King County Police Department in or near Seattle, Washington. He had just arrested two young men 'smoking marijuana in public' when one of them showed their THC Ministry id card. The officer did the right (and rare) thing by calling me immediately for verification before taking them into custody.
Apparently one of our members who has a signature id card passed sacrament while inside of a parked car to another friend who did not have an id card. Neighbors called the police who investigated and found a huge cloud of cannabis smoke coming from the car window.
I asked the officer if the THC Ministry member was being respectful and he said, yes. Although the officer was familiar with "medical marijuana", our Constitutional defense to prosecution was new to him. New, and powerful. It worked right on-the-spot, "under arrest conditions". I love when that happens!
All's well that ends well, yes? Officer was convinced by my talk with him that the sincerity of the member + our legitimacy = freedom. We won! Both men walked.
God, that's GREAT!
Love, Roger

That is indeed good news, specially to hear that the police in the King County Police Department are doing their jobs in a very respectful manner. _________________

Now that's the kind of cop I can be proud of
This guy should be a role model to all police officers in America, particularly in sunny Fl. Remember, here police officers stood guard, ready to use lethal force on even the family of Terry Shiavo should they have attempted to comfort their daughter. Thanks for this bit of reasurance Roger. |

Hello dreamz,
Aloha. Don't go without a kit just because you're short of cash! This is a ministry, not a business. It's a love thing. E-me your name and mailing address and I'll get you a scholarship kit ASAP. Easy. My pleasure. Really.
All the very best to you (and everyone else, too)
Roger

Yes, for sure. The officer is to be commended for doing the right thing.
It isn't natural to live in a place where we fear the police. They are there to protect us and our rights.
