well, as far as the pyramids and the sphinx go at Giza, it's been proven that they were built more than 10,000 years ago when that area still saw frequent torrential downpours, and that there is no way possible that we can cut the stones out, manuever, and assemble them in the size and with the precision it was done...
the sphinx has been defaced anyways, it's actually a giant lion. you can tell the Pharoah who had it defaced wasn't a ganja smoker...he wouldn't have had his face carved into it, he would've made it into a giant communal ! _________________ Experience things for yourself.

There is significant debate on the age of the Sphinx, but no serious debate among Egyptologists or archaeologists on the age of the pyramids.
I happen to think that the Sphinx is approximately 12,469 years old, but I also understand that the archaeological evidence is incomplete and ambigious and the Sphinx may well be from the Old Kingdom under the leadership of Pharaoh Shepseskaf. There are multiple explanations for the wear patterns. _________________ http://www.prntrkmt.org/ |

| Great find, Ferre. IMHO this is the reference to Adam, Eve, and everybody else who were "driven out of the Garden of Eden." Once we gained a higher consciousness and self-awareness we realized that we were no longer like the other animals. We are the Naked Ape. |
The Garden of Eden myth originated with the Pygmies. That's the reason that the garden is a lush jungle-like environment -- because the Pygmies lived in the Congo River valley.
The Garden of Eden myth travlled up the Nile into Egypt and then into the rest of the near east when the ancient Egyptians established trade with the Pygmies for Pygmy gold and ivory.
The Pygmies told the myth through belly dancing, which was also introduced at the same time. And the main Pygmy deity in the myth was Bes, the God of dancing, music, and joy. _________________ http://www.prntrkmt.org/ |
