Quote:
Revelations 6:1 - 8

1 Now I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say, as with a voice of thunder, "Come!" 2 And I saw, and behold, a white horse, and its rider had a bow; and a crown was given to him, and he went out conquering and to conquer. 3 When he opened the second seal, I heard the second living creature say, "Come!" 4 And out came another horse, bright red; its rider was permitted to take peace from the earth, so that men should slay one another; and he was given a great sword. 5 When he opened the third seal, I heard the third living creature say, "Come!" And I saw, and behold, a black horse, and its rider had a balance in his hand; 6 and I heard what seemed to be a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, "A quart of wheat for a denarius, and three quarts of barley for a denarius; but do not harm oil and wine!" 7 When he opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature say, "Come!" 8 And I saw, and behold, a pale horse, and its rider's name was Death, and Hades followed him; and they were given power over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword and with famine and with pestilence and by wild beasts of the earth.

I believe the 1st horseman rode a few years ago and the 2nd about to ride. However, I would also like to add that I believe this is the work of man. We were handed the script and technology to make it all possible, and so we have.

Quote:
If Iran retaliates against Israel or the US in Iraq, then both nations will proceed with a plan that is already in place to destroy all of Iran's biological, chemical and conventional weapons sites. In fact, this is the ultimate US strategy anyway; not the elimination of the "imaginary" nuclear weapons facilities. Both the US and Israel want to "de-fang" the Mullah-regime so that they can control critical resources and eliminate the possibility of a regional rival in the future.

In the short term, however, the plan is fraught with difficulties. At present, there is no wiggle room in the world's oil supply for massive disruptions and most experts are predicting shortages in the 4th quarter of this year. If the administration's war on Iran goes forward we will see a shock to the world's oil supplies and economies that could be catastrophic. That being the case, a report that was leaked last week that Dick Cheney had STRATCOM (Strategic Command) draw up "contingency plans for a tactical nuclear war against Iran", is probably a bit of brinksmanship intended to dissuade Iran from striking back and escalating the conflict.

It makes no difference. If Iran is attacked they will retaliate; that much is certain.

It is always the mistake of extremists to misjudge the behavior of reasonable men; just as it is always the mistake of reasonable men to mistake the behavior of extremists.

We should not expect the Bush administration to make a rational choice; that would be a dramatic departure from every preceding decision of consequence.

The President of the United States always has the option of unleashing Armageddon if he so chooses. Normally, however, sanity prevails.

When the bombs hit the bunkers in Iran; World War 3 will be underway.

Of course this is just the opinion of the author. This is part of an article I found here:

I tend to agree with that author's opinion then! What will be real funny is when Iraq and Iran turn into allies themselves over all this crap! Our thinly spread forces will be forced into a losing quagmire worse than what's allready going on at present. It'd be even funnier if the French, Spanish, and Itallians take up sides with them to send US soldiers packing just like they did with Hitler's regime. Speaking of regime's.........WE, the USofA are the one's in need of an ENTIRE regime change.

We Humans have an interesting capacity to create realities based on our conscious thoughts and core beliefs.

Sometimes this is a good thing.

Sometimes, it is not.

Often -- it's time to change core beliefs. Laughing

Bliss,
Ben

Your right on, Ben. 100 years ago, nuclear science did not exist. Where did it come from? From the imagination of a few men. From their dreams came the question, "What if this is possible?" They thought about sub-atomic physics every waking hour of their lives, never allowing themselves to be distracted from their mission. Eventually, they invented the sciences and made the dream a reality. We are "living" in the nightmarish aftermath.

It took only a few decades for the imagination of a few men to put the world in peril. Since the beginning of mankind, there has never been a time in which instant anihilation of an entire population or an individual was a possibility, let alone a thought.

What if we could do the same in reverse? What do you suppose could happen if we use our imagination to once again change our reality? After all, is this not just a consensual reality that we have all agreed upon? But it sounds like everyone I talk to is resolved to accept a future possibility as a historical fact. Why?

I do not believe the script of anything that is considered to be a "holy text".

Fate is only that which we choose. Let's start dreaming the world we want, not the one being dictated to us.

god damn good post aero. And a damn good idea at that.

If only a few men could create this world of war we live in, exactly how many would it take to create a world of peace?

A small team of scientists created the bomb. That means its possible for a few free thinkers at a discussion board to create somethinbg of the same magnitude but at the other end of the killing spectrum.

however improbable, it is possible.

I believe this is what Einstein meant when he said those words. If we can imagine a world of peace without oppression, the knowledge will come to us and we will cause it to happen.

As it is in heaven, so let it be on earth.

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather, "Which wolf wins?"

The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

It has just occured to me, what if using the A-bomb against an innocent civilian population was equal to releasing "satan" (whatever that is) from the pits of Hell? We admit it was a human sacrifice for "peace", right? We made a deal with the "Devil" to fix a man-made problem. Then the Evil spread throughout the whole world until 60 years later the Devil is waiting to help everyone make peace.

I would think that any nation using nukes, especially as a first option or offensive attack could be considered Satan in a biblical sense. I would also think that a nation using the nuclear option multiple times should be considered, "The Great Satan."

Amerika is the only nuclear nation that declares it has the right for a first strike option. Attacking before being attacked. Next time any nation uses the nuclear option it will very quickly escalate out of control. The world after this nuclear war will not be anything like the world after WWII.

When I put together the puzzle pieces of global warming, NWO, water shortages, famine, global and nuclear war I start to see a picture of 4 horsemen riding across this soon to be wretched landscape. HOWEVER, I still believe that this is all man's doing. We are at fault. We are our own creator and destroyer. Only we have the power to stop this.

you know what bro. Aeroplane , i like that post.very intelligent !

its like the whole ying and yang thing.as though we , as human beings exist on the dividing line between light and dark , between ying and yang , the point where two circles intersect

between good and evil . i guess each of us must chose which well we drink from.each second of each day we decide between two opposing forces between two forks in the road.

we are that which we do.we are the decisions we make.what we are is decided by which fork in the road we take.

hmmmm. each decision we make becomes like ripples on a pond. sort of like the Gaia theory.

its a great responsibility is it not ? even the smallest decisions we make can have profound and unforseen consequences that we could never have imagined .

in that context , dropping an atomic bomb on a wooden town takes on even more horrifying proportions . big ol' ripples on the pond that is human kinds history and destiny .

respect to you brother

.
