The Christianising of Europe
The Christian Heaven may have been a vain folly but the Christian Hell was real enough. For more than a thousand years sadists in the uniform of Christ terrorised and brutalised a continent and then exported that terror to the four corners of the globe.
The Church, which, with a satanic twist of humour, claimed to be the instrument of 'Christ's loving kindness' , taught a brutalised and impoverished people new meanings to the words pain and suffering...

This help expose the need to further label Christians.
There are 2 kinds.
Obedient Christians
&
Disobedient Christians.
Guess which kind condones, supports and partakes in torture? |

The people who participated in the Crusades weren't followers of Jesus.
They were followers of the Pope and his religion. His religion wasn't based
on the Bible or the teachings of Jesus, but were based on greed, lust for
power, and a desire to expand his empire to include Jerusalem.
The real believers in the teachings of Christ were burned at the stake,
or drawn and quartered for their commitment to their beliefs. The real
believers exposed the evils of the Roman Institution and later in the
Reformation would label the Pope and his religion as the anti-christ.
There are many today who carry the name tag of "Christian" because
it is a socially accepted belief. Besides it's nice to be nice and who knows
you might make a few connections that are good for business.
Karl Marx's father (they were Jews) moved from a Jewish neighborhood
to a Lutheran neighborhood and joined a Lutheran church because it
was good for business. In other words, he betrayed his faith for the
love of money. As a result, Karl Marx rejected all religion because of
his father's example. Later he would say that "religion is the opiate of
the people."
Hmm...Quite an appropriate quote for this forum. _________________ "Of all the dispositions and habits which lead

Shamash & Zero, Thank You.
Philippians 3:18, “For many walk, of whom I often told you, and now tell you even weeping, that they are enemies of the cross of Christ,”
Cain was “exiled by God.” quoted from the Layman’s Bible Dictionary. (3rd page of the Bible) Murder caused exile. If God can exile Cain, what can He and will He do to the Cain’s of today? Then, there was one; now there are many. Ahhh. They are still in exile; that is an extension of the deluding influence. Murderers are in exile and are detached from the direction which has been requested they take!!! So, as a prime example; Bush is His own man, detached and exiled from God, and that’s the reason it is so clear to those who can see that He can not see. Cain was exiled by Christ God Our Father.
For fear of being exiled by Christ God Our Father, do not murder or support, condone or accept it in any way. !!!!!!!!!!!!
Cains are still exiled!
Philippians 4:15, “no church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving…” = no church offered kaneh bosm.
And don’t miss the message in Phil. 4:18… subtitled “God’s Provisions”
And yes Zero, they are still here.
Caesars as powerful as ever.
It is just as told.
Your ex wife, the disobedient Christian, will drive You toward being an obedient Christian. (I read You post about the children’s cannabis book…)
If the sign of the beast is 666; the sign of truth is 420.
Truth eats. |

Many Christians are intellectually dishonest. It drives me crazy.
If
something is true that we believe in, then we should act and live our lives
in accordance with it. If it is shown not to be true, then to be honest
with ourselves, we should alter our lifestyle to fit this newly uncovered
truth.
Truth doesn't need to be manipulated, just exposed to the light. Sadly
enough, most people don't want the Truth, they want just enough truth
to re-inforce what they already believe.
I do not seek to be controversial, however, the above verse is cut off
before it tells, as Paul Harvey says, "the rest fo the story."
It continues with "...whose end is destruction, whose god is their belly,
and whose glory is in their shame - who set their mind on earthly things."
Paul is discussing the general Greek attitude of worshipping their gods.
The Greeks had many gods all of whom acted liked humans with their
lusts, greed, angers, and bad moods, etc. As a result, the Greeks
cared little for the afterlife. They gloried in the pleasures of the here
and now. They were focused solely on earthly pleasures with little or
no restrictions. For instance, homosexuality wasn't abnormal - it was
a way of life.

The Hebrews spoke in word pictures - in concepts. For instance, the
definition for woman is actually "she who binds the family together"
while the definition for man is, " he who provides strength."
In Philippians 4:18 Paul is making a word picture of the fact that
supporting the work of spreading the good news about Jesus is an
act of worship acceptable to God - as a sweet smelling aroma. He is
not saying it is literally an aroma.
As much as one might want this verse to refer to kaneh bosm, to make
that stretch is to destroy the real meaning. There is no reference to
kaneh bosm here. Just a leap of blind faith.
This is the same kind of mistake preachers make throughout modern
Christianity. They interpret Scripture through a 21st century Western,
Gentile mindset.
Please take this as a gentle correction, and not as a rebuke. I only
aim to help. _________________ "Of all the dispositions and habits which lead

Just a note here.
Aetheism killed about 100 million people in the 20th century alone.
While I in no way seek to justify the actions of those who hijacked the
true faith of Christ, a little perspective is in order. Otherwise we might
be tempted to throw out the good religion along with the bad. _________________ "Of all the dispositions and habits which lead

This history of torture is one of the many reasons I refuse to be affiliated with any religion. What is religion anyway? Why do we need it when animals, plants and spirits don't?
I believe an enlightened mind does not need the governance of a higher power over them, for the enlightened believe that power comes from within. _________________ "Penalties against the possession of a drug

Everyone has a religion. It is the set of beliefs that each of us live by
and determine our actions in certain conditions.
Even those who don't belief in a deity (god) have a religion. They have
a set of beliefs that govern their lives. Besides, aetheism has now been
officially recognized as a religion.
Some people's religion is all about SELF. They are the center of their
universe. Everything rises and falls based on it's impact on them.
We may as well eat, drink, and be merry for tomorrow we die. All is
in vain.
Other's have religions that include a God who rules the universe. Their
point of view is that we are living in someone else's backyard and He
has rules about good and bad behaviour. He rewards those who obey,
and punishes those who don't - much like a parent.
Of course, a person can believe anything - that does not mean there
is any rational evidence that it is true.
Personally, I see aetheism as totally illogical. You would have to be a
god yourself in order to know conclusively that there is no god.
Anyway, whether we talk about good religion or good government,
it's the people who take a good thing and turn it into crap. As Seinfeld
the comedian once said, "People, they're the worst."
BTW, I believe I'm handsome and irresistable to women. My wife says
I am an old fool. So who are you gonna believe? I could look in the
mirror and check it out myself, but I don't think I can handle the truth.

"One must be a god to conclusively know that there is a God" is another way to look at it.
There is a Buddhist philosophy that I find profound. It goes something like this: In this comedy we call life there are many characters, but only one Actor. The joke is that the Actor forgets it is playing all the characters and even forgets who it really is. The Buddha.
For me this is not just something I read in a book, it's what I've experienced. _________________ "Penalties against the possession of a drug

Oh well, Heck with it. This is how we act in real life:
"I see diplomacy isn't working to get what I want so now we get down
to the bear bones."
"It's like this: What's mine is mine, and what's yours is mine if I am
big enough to take it."
"If you try to stop me, I will have to use force. Of course, I will
manipulate the media so it looks like it's all your fault for not giving
me what I wanted in the first place."
" 'Why did you make me kill you,' I'll say. You could've avoided all this
conflict if you had just done as I wished. Now all your dead citizens are
your fault."
"They just didn't understand I was trying to prevent them from hurting
themselves. It was in their best interest that I take over their country.
They should be thankful."
"Oh, the ungrateful wretches. It is a good thing I am so kind and
patient." _________________ "Of all the dispositions and habits which lead

Abu Grab, Guantanamo, Afghanistan... it would appear that we are treading thin ice. One slip and we could plunge back into the icy waters of barbarism. _________________ "Penalties against the possession of a drug

I'd call Abu, Afghan, and Guantanamo the banana peel then. We have long since slipped to a barbaric level. The moment someone within the US gov't decided to blow those two towers to shit on 9-11-01. What more barbaric move could anyone make against thier OWN citizens? Oh yeah, add the Super Dome in NO to that list also. Heck, add that whole city....talk about barbarism allready! _________________ -Brother Adam (we are all one family)
