|
|
I would like to know if anyone invloved in the THC Ministry in Amsterdam can help an American come to the Netherlands to seek freedom with cannabis and escape the persecution as we have it in the USA. Now granted we do not have it here as bad as other countries, but still we have our problems, and I would like to pursue work in cannabis, and I also have a high level of skills in computing, and sales.
I hope to one day start my own Cannabis shop in the Netherlands, but in the meantime I'm looking for any work I can find in cannabis, cannabis coffee shops, seed banks, etc..
If this is truly a ministry outreach, then are there some kind souls here that could help me to find employment in the Netherlands and seek employment in any cannabis related work? If anyone knows of anything or can help, please let me know and I can send my resume. Thank you very much. |

Hello & welcome to the Ministry, Das
I can not offer you any help with finding employment in the Netherlands, but I do wish you success in your pursuit of the best job in the world.

Ferre thank you very much, and for anyone that can hire me, and get me a working visa you can tell them I am willing to take any work in any of these types of shops, and will work for little pay, JUST to get the working visa to stay and work legal in the Netherlands, or really ANY work I can get I will be very happy to take.
By the way do you have any friends, family etc working in the coffee shops, seed banks etc, or own any business that would hire a USA citizen?
Also if you want I can send you my RESUME now so you can show it to anyone interested. I have alot of good skills in sales, and computers for these types of jobs. This is my website I work by myself, building the website, and running it, and making the software packages for the Slackware/Linux operating system.
www.slackcare.com
I'm not worried about getting work in computers, but hopefully my computer skills will help, I've been working in computing about 15 years.
If you can help me, for your help I hope one day I can repay you for your time and help, because I think the best way for me as a Yank is to make friends with the Dutch people that can, and don't mind helping me to come to their wonderful country to make my life, and would like to have a Yank working for them, with the experience I have learned in the USA. All I can say now is I hope I can one day repay them for their kindness.
I leave this in Gods hands because I know he can make a way through the people of the Netherlands for me. And one last thing is there like any THC Ministry work I could do in Amsterdam? |

even you happy to work as dishpig for a coffeeshop?
sorry, "dishpig" is Aussie slang means someone who works in cafe or resturant washing up all these piles of dirty plates, cups, and kitchenware?
Just wondering thats all ... I don't live in Holland.
I am curious if finding employment in the cannabis industry is very competitive? because everyone around the world and dutch people want to work in the cannabis industry? Since I assume the tourists are the biggest cannabis users in Holland? And they all come to Holland to expereince the Cannabis culture and other things and they get stoned and dream "Gee.. wouldn't it be awesome to work in coffeeshop?" and have the Dutch Government closed down few hundred coffeshops last few years or am I incorret here? _________________ "Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Maybe I went about this the wrong way, I just thought possibly the simpler jobs, coffeeshops, etc.. might be easier to get work. I personally don't care what work I find, just as long as I can get employment.
I have skills, in Health & Nutrition, Computing, Sales, Bartender, Tourism, and the Marine Industry as: (Boat Captain, Divemaster)
I have been around the world working for 15 years:
New Zealand, New Caledonia, Norfolk Island, Solomon Islands, Truk Micronesia, Ponapei Micronesia, Guam, Saipan, Japan
I also speak basic Japanese where I lived and worked for 1 year.
I'm a big boy so I'll scrub toilets if I have to, to land a job over there, but I don't think it will be that extreme given my resume, and work experience.
I'll just take cannabis for the fact I can enjoy it on my off time not worrying about getting arrested, etc.. but I'm not so concerned about working in coffee shops, seed banks etc.. If that is the Dutch thinking, and it's actually more difficult.
I have excellent computing skills personally I'd rather put to good use over there, but I don't really care what work I do as long as someone would give me a job, that's all that matters, putting food on the table, I'm happy with anything.
I just want the Dutch people to know I'm a family man, and very serious about this, I'm not some kid, and I hope those that are here on this forum from the Netherlands might take this serious too, to help me find employment. I have excellent skills, and I'm just looking for a honest job is all, not some hippy seeking cannabis asylum or something like that., I'm sure they get enough of that
So to anyone that can help or needs a good employee please contact me to send you my resume, thank you all again. Happy New Year! |
