All over night stop off points are estimates, but I will try to stick to them.

Friday 15th June
Day 1 20 miles to Devils Dyke.
Day 2 23 miles to Upwaltham.
Day 3 17.5 miles to Queen Elizabeth Country park.
Day 4 12 miles to Winchester.
Day 5 24 miles to Salisbury.
Day 6 10 miles to Stonehenge.

Hope to see you all at Stonehenge.

Wow, David this is an amazing thing you and your son are doing!!! I think my feet would fall off. The bonding with your son will be great. to complete the walk as well is great. your son is amazing for setting this up. I'm happy for you and him. weldone

Mallory, Thank you for the good wishes.

My son and I are beyond bonding, I took my son out of state school for a year and we went traveling. I thought we would get on each others nerves, but we are the bestest of buddies and each day it just gets stronger. My son says "Dad when I get older I want to be just like you". Now seeing I hate my dad and we never speak it kinda shows who has the problem.

It's so Great when you get to be a better parent than your own parents were. For me it was breaking the cycle of abuse. Yep Grannymouse I'm with you on the dune buggy or golf cart idea at least for a year or two. I used to be able to walk for days but not in shape now yet working on it. I should make this my goal. When i'm fit again to go walk with David and his son.

My son goes everywhere with me, he sometimes gets upset because he restricts where I can go, but hey if he can't go why would I. Very Happy

Less than 18 hrs to go, I can't think straight it's all going ten to the dozen, I must start packing soon! Jack picks up all the wet gear tonight, man I starting doing some building work before the pigs beat me up and I swore to the wife I would make sure the hot water was running before I leave. I think its going to be a 'right the waters on lets go' Laughing

Please can everyone send me extra well wishes for my son on this adventure. I have already gain a nutter who has freet to stab me on the walk from another Cannabis Website, because I stood my ground and said I love this Ministry. The wishes are not for me, I have told the website that its a shame, because anyone who now enters my camp without invitation, I will decapitate them as quick as I can!

That 'stabbing' stuff was actually aimed at me. Its a long running thing between us, but the first time he's actually threatened public violence.

I have responded accordingly. I believe things will be dealt with well.

They are merciless over there but they are a good stone to sharpen up yourself on. If you know what I mean.

Its like the lion pit.

I think you've scared the life out of some of them too.

David & his son left Brighton yesterday around 11:30am. They had at least one false start. David forgot his pipe.

Weather was overcast but dry yesterday and they had managed to reach their first target last night around 6:30pm. When I last spoke to him they were having a hot meal and a pint.

All has gone well so far.
