|
|
The ancestors of North Europeans were Scythian tribes , they brought hemp or Hanf to Europe and many other advances, they are credited with bringing Buddhism to China as well. see interesting new data on this http://www.white-history.com/hwr6a.htm
Hanf or cannabis was used not only for cloths and rope but as a tool for meditation and shamanistic uses in healing. For 1000's of years the Hanf goddess was honored with the sacred smoke. When Buddhism was adopted by some tribes. the old beliefs were accommodated into the new form of Buddhism. All Buddhist groups combine part of the old belief system into the new religion/way of life. Hence we have unique Tibetan Buddhism, Japanese, Thai. which all have a different style but the same basic teaching of Buddha apply. The point is THERE IS a western form of Buddhism and they used cannabis and this religion was Crushed by the Roman invasion of N. Europe and the Roman church later on applied the coup de gras to it's "Pagan-Barbarians" practitioners and Hanf was now "the devils Sacrament"
It is my belief that if a religion like Rasta which came in only in 1930 is given recognition and exemption of cannabis use then an Ancient suppressed religion like Scythian Buddhism is also valid and should/is exempt from these same laws. I am a practitioner of Buddhism for 35 yr.. and a shaman of Scythian Buddhism, which should be re established and given the historical recognition it deserves and it is Now are right to reclaim a way of life and a belief system that sustained us for thousands of years. Buddha was active 500 years before Christ and was the religion of choice of many people and now we can start to reestablish the teaching of Buddha on the context of N. European culture and let it take it's place in the west as the important and peaceful (unless attacked) philosophy it is.
Any one not comfortable with Christianity or it's parent Judaism should listen to what Buddha had to say, try some Hanf meditation and see what happens. The only present requirement is daily meditation using Hanf as a tool. along with studies of the Dharma, teaching of the Buddha. This alternative needs to be presented so the truth of our ancestors is known and the west again be introduced to Buddha and Hanf. |

Excellent stuff, as someone of Celtic descent with red hair and green eyes, i have long been interested in the ancestors of the Celts and in particular the Tarim Basin Mummies and the Tocharian people.
Thnx for sharing
