I've went thru the same "choking" problem with the sacrament too, brother Waldo.
One of my episodes w/choking was due to a sinus infection, but many other times it wasn't.
I took a break from smoking for about three days and when I went back to smoking, I took smaller hits and it gradually got better.
Waldo, do you smoke cigarettes? I do & it definately don't help with the choking problem. I'm gonna quit the tobacco smoking asap.
One other thing that relieved my throat was eating some honey ever now & again.
Getting choked seemed to accelerate getting high as most folks know, but it's aggravating as hell, as we know.
Peace,

Do not panic, but seeing a doctor is a good idea as you may have an infection that needs treatment... and smoke doesn't help. Go vap and give a stop to the choke _________________

You say your wife smoked for 28 years? Ouch, man. You've probably inhaled a hell of a lot of second-hand smoke. That's going to inflame your throat and tonsils (if you still have them). I'd suggest looking for a recipie for Herb tea and seeing if that doesn't help soothe. _________________ Don't strive for world peace. Good luck with your throat, Waldo.
Taking a break will also lower your tolerance for the THC...
it'll be more enjoyable along with a better high, IMO.
Peace,
