The second annual Santa Cruz WAMMfest, a benefit for the Wo/Men's Alliance for Medical Marijuana, comes two years after the famed medical marijuana collective lost its entire crop to a raid by the DEA. The members of WAMM have come through this hard time with hope, determination and a will to keep helping patients.
The WAMMfest is our major fund raiser. The funds are used in WAMM's ongoing battle to provide medicine, education, care for their members, and raise awareness of the governments harsh laws against this kind of compassion. WAMM is a collective not a buyer's club. We do not sell our medicine and we care for each other in many ways beyond our medicine.
*WAMM's mission is funded entirely by donations* WAMMfest 2004 brings together WAMM members and their supporters from around the World. Live Entertainment is all ready signing up we are now actively seeking vendors.
A wide range of subjects - Marijuana to Hemp - will be represented in many interesting ways. Music, Clothes, Foods, Glassware, Jewelry, Snacks, and an emphasis on the various uses of Hemp and Cannabis products will make for a fun day. Join us in advocating reduce, reuse and recycle for a more sustainable society.
$150.00/non-Profit deposit due with application,
plus 5% City of Santa Cruz tax, due 8/5/04,
$175.00/Profit deposit due with application,
plus 10% City of Santa Cruz tax, due 8/5/04.
