Brother Rishi's article is a MUST READ for Cannabis Sacrament Ministers..
| Quote: |
Sacrament of the HIGH
Expand Your Consciousness Through Cannabis
It has been known for many millennia, and perhaps even before the advent of languages, that there exist in nature certain substances which greatly aid personal unfoldment. Known today as "entheogens" and also, "teacher plants", such substances are becoming more widely understood as accelerators of human consciousness. Among these is the Cannabis Herb, also known as "marijuana", whose flowers induce THE HIGH.
The high of cannabis is considered a mild hallucinogenic, but when it is properly used, it is neither mild, nor hallucinogenic. Instead, this Herb can be an extremely potent conveyor of high states of consciousness, one that can be used by the meditator for the sake of gaining greater clarity, vibration, (level of high) energy, (chi) psychic powers, greater health, intelligence and wisdom. By "properly used" I mean the Herb should be smoked with a reverent and spiritual INTENTION, and whose full potential absolutely CANNOT be realized without the practice of meditation. Most smokers assume that the high is a finite thing depending solely upon the chemistry of a given piece of bud. But the truth is that the high can be greatly amplified through meditational focus upon it, and through the conscious employment of INTENT.
As a personal testimonial to the truth of these statements, I can honestly say that in my experience of the Herb, I've not only expanded my consciousness, I've also gained various psychic and spiritual powers which exceed the scope of this article. Suffice it to say that through the high, I've discovered the truth of ancient Vedic texts with regard to the actuality of the chakras, the "chi" or "ki' referred to in various martial arts, improved my health, increased my clarity, IQ level and manifest wisdom. I've gained a greater alignment and knowledge of God, of Earth Consciousness, of the collective consciousness of humanity and of the purpose of all life. I've even learned to project my high to other smokers so that they can gain benefit therefrom, and can readily teach anyone to do the same. Cannabis has become my "spiritual ally" and "plant totem" from whom I've learned an incalculable number of lessons regarding evolution and life itself. I've listened well to this Teacher, gained advanced knowledge of the expansion of consciousness, and continue to be instructed by the HIGH each and every time I smoke.
Cannabis is, in my estimation, the most advanced and evolved form of plant life on this planet. If you want to partake of such benefits from this Herb of herbs, then by all means apply yourself earnestly to the methods of spiritual advancement I'm about to introduce. Cannabis itself is largely responsible for these teachings, and of the World Mind Society writings in general. If the deep and profound benefits of cannabis were to be understood by even a small percentage of the human world, the course of history would not only be changed forever, our species would then be poised to take the next great leap in our continuing evolution. Cannabis is a gift of Earth consciousness. When we smoke it with due reverence it becomes a vehicle for personal and collective transformation.
My intent for this article is simply to introduce the basic tools for the reader to use, in the right employment of the Herb. It is not meant as an advanced treatise on the expansion of consciousness by any means, as that is an in-depth subject. For you to begin to gain the benefits of the HIGH I've described thus far, you absolutely need to take up the practice of meditation and the earnest intention of spiritual advancement. Without these two pre-requisites in smoking Herb, there simply is very little opportunity for you to take full advantage of it's spiritual gifts. It is necessary that you make the decision to meditate daily, and to dedicate your life to greater spiritual progress and understanding, now, on this day. Do these things with earnest feeling in your heart and determined focus in your mind, and the truly royal road of spiritual advancement through the cannabis HIGH will be yours.
To begin this practice, start by conducting a number of meditations without smoking the Herb. Proficient meditational practice is a great advantage for the smoker, since it will allow them the strength of internal focus to NAVIGATE THE HIGH successfully. I recommend that you conduct the following meditation at least 5-10 times over a period of days before continuing on to it's Herbal counterpart. As a practitioner of the high, you must refine your basic abilities and tools first, just as a would-be athlete must prepare their bodies for high performance. Conduct the following meditation as recommended, for 20-30 minutes at a time;

Meditation had been so difficult for me. In the past, my working hobbies allowed me to concentrate and focus. But these hobbies became too much of a strain on my hands for daily work.
When first my Sacrement Minister directed me to the benefits both physical and spiritual, I was concerned. But he's helped me find a better way to reach the calm place where I can still my body enough to open my mind.
Many things have changed since choosing this path, but it's where I belong.

| exactly...people can gain a great amount of valuable lessons from using the herb as a vessel for meditation. personally, i find that smoking supresses my concious mind, thus freeing my unconcious mind. i find that while my mind is open and expanded, i can travel (in spirit, of course) great distances to people that i feel the need to connect with. and i truly feel the experience of connecting with them.....its very satisfying. before i started smoking cannabis...i had been meditating for about 2 years and so when my experience with the sacred smoke came......i felt enlightend beyond description. there has never been a time since then that hasnt been as beautiful, if not more beautiful, than that first moment. life is so beautiful once you can see the truth in everything because truth brings purity....purity brings love, in the deepest sense. keep respect. jah love... |
