The phone number is Roger's number and it's good...
If you're a member you should call him anyway because he's willing to help and has lots of experience and ideas on what you can do.
Mainly if you're arraigned you need to ask for a jury trial because all you have to do is convince one juror and you go free.
But, you won't win in a jury trial if you are not sincere in your beliefs in cannabis as a religious sacrament.
Sincerety means cleaning up your act, so to speak...your life, to some extent at least, should reflect that sincerety. Honesty is the key here. They'll find out if you're just using the ministry to get high and party...
Hope that helps!
If you haven't yet, read this thread...Roger has a nice post with alot of info on page 2...Click here _________________ Fyrefly1

Greetings markcovalt:
Despite the limited sucess of the ministries defense I still think it will ultimatly prove to be a winner. After my recent rantings, other ministers posted some very useful links which I will try to find and re post.
It seems there are more attornies willing to hear the religious defense than I realized. At the time of my arrest, the only ones in town refused to hear it. This actually makes sense to me now. Lawyers in Florida make there bread and butter by loosing "drug" cases. it's easy money. A religious defense properly implemented would pull the rug out on the
DEA(th)
If you plan to use the ministry defense your going to need the kit. With out it, the prosecution will breathe a sigh of relief as they send you off to your new life as a colostomy bag. Without the kit, they will claim you have no serious religious convictions and just jumped on the religious band wagon in order to escape prosecution. If you don't have the kit, the jury, always believing the good honest police officer, will side with the prosecutor, even if he is Osama Bin Laden in a red suit with two horns and a pitch fork and you were mistaken for John the Baptist.
My mistake was trying to use the defense for a comerce situation. DO NOT TRY THIS, IT WILL NOT WORK!!!! Take the hit and scrape up the bucks for the kit. Join the ULC and become an ordained minister through them and talk extensively with Roger about using the defense in your state.
Take the ministry seriously. If you are using cannabis as a sacrement then understand that you are recieving it from G-d. Show G-d as well as his sacred cannabis and the ministry the respesct that is deserved. Pray to
G-d before use of the sacrement and pray for the saftey of Roger, the ministers and the ultimate sucess of the ministry defense. Hope this helps.

That's a big 10-4, otherwise they'd be saying you're full of ...
You get where I'm going with this.
Actually Rev. Steve's post is one for the ages. Excellent for anyone who is just wondering. _________________ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Great post Rev. Steve. I too am in FL, and I'm wondering if you have anything active going with your ministry here?
It's always great to get a chance to hear from other people actually in my state. |

Hi Rev. Adam and welcome to THC ministry. My ministry has not had the sucess that Rev. Christie has had but then I'm not Roger Christie
If I were it would be TFC ministry which just does not sound as good as THC. Any way, the situation here in Florida is pretty dismal as you well know.
I am investigating some recent posts by other ministers that might turn the tide in our favor. This website http://flcan.org/? was posted by Lilli a few months ago and looks very promising. Another site was posted by Pepper http://mpp.org/grants/mrp/
Though I am still in financial ruin as a result of my arrest, I start to feel some hope for a victory in Florida. Thanks to Lilli and pepper for the posts

I've yet to get a call back or email back from FLCAN.org and Jaxhempfest, it puzzles me, groups wanting volunteers and needing volunteers not acknowledging someone who wants to volunteer. |

Very disapointing VWBusman. I had not considered that these guys might just be running there mouths, but that may be what it is. Lets hope they are not just a bunch of government stooges pretending to offer hope, but are really trying to discourage people from persuing a real defense. |

DAMM! I can feel my blood pressure going up again. Lets face an ugly fact people. NO BODY IS GOING TO HELP US ON THIS! Obviously MPP has no real interest in a religious defense or they have been threatend by the fed to back off when it comes to THC ministry. I almost wish I had not read this post Bro Ferre. |
