Yes, and yes, I'm a fan. The man has the ability of pointing out what a load of nonsense those abrahamic religions are in a VERY intellectual manner.

Just compare the way he talks with the utter bullcrap most of those religious folks come up with (like that fool I quoted above) and you'll find an astonishing superiority in the use of language and common sense by Pat Condell. (Hehhe, not that it takes much to appear superior to those dead cult believers, but still.)

Honestly, I think these people want to believe in God because then they don't have to be accountable for their own actions. The devil made me do it. I had sex with 50 men because I'm possessed and so forth. I can sin all week and go to church on Sunday and that makes me a good person. These people scare the crap out of me. It's also all about the fear of not conforming, the brainwashing as children and the fear of free thinking. Ignorance is bliss. If your a free thinker you must be possessed. Atheist's are looked down upon more than pedophiles by these people. That's kinda funny when you think about the whole Catholic priest thing. Or should I say ironic? I find they argue from an emotional stand-point where we are more logical. They take our not believing in their god personally. I think alot of it boils down to intelligence as well.

I think it all starts with the upbringing of those people. They indeed have a mental problem but they are victims of the brainwashing and conditioning into accepting delusional thinking as "normal". It's all very dualistic and that confuses children to the point that they can't judge for themselves what's right or wrong any more and thus creating generations (and millions) of humans who lack common sense and rationale, simply because they've been thought to abandon rational thought and have replaced it with a fantasy world. When you think "druggies" escape from reality, try the judeo christian religions, no drugs can beat that. It's not a coincidence that the same kind of characters who use drugs to escape reality often become totally religious fanatics in some of the deadcults after they get cured from their addiction, they just replace a drug with a mental conditioning to escape.

Those religious folks tell their children there are no monsters hiding under their beds and secure them that monsters don't exist but at the same time tell them that there's an invisible man in the sky who knows everything they do and can see them everywhere they go, they also tell those kids about hell and Satan and such and tell them it's all real. Children growing up with such totally irrational and non-logical ideas planted in their minds never learn to think rational and logical. Normal parents (those who have no mental disorders) will tell their children that monsters, ghosts, deamons, etc. are just creations of our own imagination and apart from NOT real, nothing to be afraid off.

Normal thinking parents also teach their children that when anyone who tells them that "something bad" (as in=imaginary hell) can happen to them if they don't submit to their ideologies they are dealing with unacceptable delusional-driven blackmail and con-men,...or crazy people. In the case of the abrahamic sects, it's all of that.

Rational thinking parents teach their children not to trust snake-oil salesmen..and (figuratively speaking) certainly not condition them to join the snake-oil salesmen and make them believe that snake oil actually works, as those religious folks do to their kids.

I do think it can be cured though, I strongly believe that humanity can cure itself from this mental disease which has struck so many people on earth. I have a theory that education can cure this within a few generations and make it a rare disease, just as education has been used to counter analfabetism it can counter this wide spread mental disorder the same way. After all people are not born with it, it's a clear conditioning and what can be conditioned can be de-conditioned as well. Education is the cure in my view.

The hard part is for the world to realize and most of all to recognize and accept the fact that it's a (self-inflicted) mental disorder and that humanity can move on to the next level in our steps on the evolution ladder and progression once we cure ourselves from this disease which holds us back and often attempts to draw us back into the middle ages.

Anyway, that's how I see it.

I don't think you or I will live to see that though. You know this is kinda off subject but a couple weeks ago my husband told me how he was thinking Mary was a whore one night ,then the next morning at work he was helping load a truck with another guy and the guy just blurted out Mary was a whore. I believe that there is Evil in the world (Through Experience)...I presume nothing else?....GOD must be the opposite!

Now if I use the Holy Bible as my Guide book of life for life...in it are certain morals, concepts, covenants, Laws, Logics, Reason...which if applied correctly by all or by the one..would form a peaceful and harmonic estate (presumed)..gain a higher level of knowledge, save oneself from the fire of God's anger...reborn out of Death back into life with Christ Jesus...in Eden...(Presumed)

What has come out of the Bibles righteous morals are in our case senerio?...The breaking of those Laws, covenants, precepts, Principles, and Logics, to try to enforce them in a bent way!
If we Kill the Evil...we become Evil in the doing ..."Thow shall not Kill"
Break this commmandment, and you then break many more...for hatred comes from that...and is born by it...those who witness the killing, and those who loved the ones who got killed...turn to hatred of the murderers!
So The law protects both sides..

Now about Gay and Lesbians...God said he doesn't like the mutations/abomonations we (humans ) are creating through the practice of Idolatry!..and not listening to education of the biological sound knowledge of the reproductive organs!

And here is where it all went wrong...they kill JESUS.....and before Jesus....The Jews went to war (murdering and killing) in the name of God...to get what they coveted "THE PROMISED LAND?"
God clearly says He will remove them from the lands before hand!...and at his leasure....
And he asked them to spy the lands and get the seeds...
Why? .....to make Eden in the wilderness ofcourse!

Now because they did not listen to God, they coveted the lands of Canna...and went to war...Killing and coveting what was not theirs!
After they conquered that, by breaking the commandments...Jesus came to right the wrongs they committed..or were about to commit with ROME>.

Now you may say that Religion of Abraham is invalid for you...but to post such lies about it with out taking any of the steps needed to comply to it is only mockery of it!
And that disrespecting others beliefs, and spreading lies about it, are what Get the fanatical religious in a uproar!

Same with Gay and Lesbian wedlock...Do it by the civil code...not by the holy code!
Thus they can marry, just not in front of God's holy estate or by Gods holy estate...if it be a abomonation to the lord...then why test God's anger?

Now another oddity...A gay should wed a lesbian...it would solve the problem correctly!..for they state I'm a woman in a mans body, and I am a man in a womans body...

But that is my logic...They cannot reason it out in that way...cause they hate the truth of it.

Now Jesus says let em be....and save oneself from it by doing service in the Garden sinlessly !
"THose who do the will, shall fulfill the word, and restore EDEN to a holy estate!

That all depends on the helpers....No more Evil doers...No more death!

Well if we continue to make death a constant..with bad lies, and disrespecting peoples right to their beliefs that are morally good...then this world deserves Death....and So My God acts on the actions Evil doers do!
And judges accordingly!

First law of thumb...respect the enviroment to which we live in.
This first instruction is given in Genesis 2:15...in accordance to what God made Good! Genesis 1:12, 1:29 and has given us Genesis 9:3 to use in a holy way and make Edens...the multiplication of EDEN.
Now was that hard to phantom?

God says he gives to all life that obey...freely!
Thus we can live for free because God says that sharing everything is better than being selfish!
And we know humans are now becoming very selfish with their conduct onto all life!
Pollution of the elementals...poisoning their crops, and removing their food supplies to grow genetically modified foods that only humans can eat safely???...
I don't know about that... but who sits down with the other life forms and asks them if they want to go to war?

Ah..the chair at the table with God is all life.
And all life has the right to judge and be judged...to make actions arise that are good...or ...bad!

Now our actions speak of our intent...this world humans are making is violating the Enviroments eco systems!
If we continue to go down the road of industrial madness...the planet will eventually be so polluted nothing will live in it...and then where is this money/wealth going to bring you and me and them?
To canabalizum?
And after that?...the final death?
the second death?
the third death?
the fourth death?

Ah the bible says the second death... wonder why?


Now in order to make peace....God extends the ideal of forgiveness of sins...If No more sin is done!

And I can still see sin/evil in the world...So Jesus asks God to forgive them they know not what they do....2000 years after his death and saying it?.....oh they know what they do now!....the thing is they don;t care!!
