if pot was legalized think how much money people would have to spend on other things.
i dont believe in taxation of pot or beer: beer is food and herb is medicine
and neither should be taxed, to me it is sacreligious as they are both divine sacrements to me.
remember when they used to denature (poison) alcohol?1? talk about sacreligious!! (I do believe in taxation of alcohol that is to be burned in cars as fuel or pure grain alcohol or any distelled spirits) but to tax sacremental herb or beer...

people frequently say "legalize and tax the herb" but i say enough money would be generated as taxes just by the extra money people would have to spend cuz they grew their own.

i know many people who spend thousands of dollars a year on herb. think how much taxes would be generated if they spent that on booze or cigarettes or washing machines..

please think hard next time you discuss taxing herb

oops, forgot this is only a reason to end the war on herb

Twisted Evil
well it's not the only reason first of all (I could dish them out infinately) but it's an excellant reason that's all too frequently overlooked. I did a survey at my school about legalization issues and one of the questions was sorta related to this, but anyway my results said that if the regular user only spent 1/10th of what they do now on herb (which is what they would likely spend if it was legalized due to increased supply and to being able to grow there own) 82% believed that they would have enough money to buy or at least begin to pay for a large assett such as a car or house or else invest for college or retirement. Proof that our (cough) great (cough) country would be a much better place with marijuana legalized.
