Hello to everyone, this is my first post. I just became a member of what I hope to be a great organization, though I have some concerns. First, what makes the sanctuary kit and/or i.d.'s more worthwhile to purchase than to print off my own computer? I unfortunately cannot afford the $200 kit, but hope to gain the same legal benefit from the organization. Also, I am not a 'minister' because to some degree it contradicts my religious beliefs (conservative, Bible Belt church of Christ literal interpretationist). So whats the deal? Are my homemade business cards with information about this fine organization as legitimate as those sent from THC-ministry?
Also, while doing Lexis/Nexis searches for THC-ministry and those who have used the defenses described on this website, I have only been able to find a few relevant cases. Could I get a list or link to a list of all 50 some odd cases that have been won in favor of the marijuana user on account of this type of defense? Has it worked in both Federal and State courts? Has a precedent been set, and has that precedent been referenced to in cases thereafter? I believe this to be a very good organization, I am just interested in completely defending my rights.
Thanks to all,
wattssw

1 Samuel 14
24 Now the men of Israel were in distress that day, because Saul had bound the people under an oath, saying, "Cursed be any man who eats food before evening comes, before I have avenged myself on my enemies!" So none of the troops tasted food. 25 The entire army entered the woods, and there was honey on the ground. 26 When they went into the woods, they saw the honey oozing out, yet no one put his hand to his mouth, because they feared the oath. 27 But Jonathan had not heard that his father had bound the people with the oath, so he reached out the end of the staff that was in his hand and dipped it into the honeycomb. He raised his hand to his mouth, and his eyes brightened. 28 Then one of the soldiers told him, "Your father bound the army under a strict oath, saying, 'Cursed be any man who eats food today!' That is why the men are faint." 29 Jonathan said, "My father has made trouble for the country. See how my eyes brightened when I tasted a little of this honey. |

Howdy, wattssw, I want to welcome you to the ministry.
My mother in law belongs to the church of christ ministry.
It seems to me that church of christ folks are always talking about baptism and Acts 2:38 whenever they are able.
Not to talk or argue about religion/bible...just had to get that in here
Peace,

I'm surprised Act 2:38 isn't a tattoo with some folks.

Well, talking about tattoos, One of our members has the THC Ministry logo tattooed on him. I have a picture.

Now there's an idea who's time has come.
I've been considering a tattoo for years but could never put a handle on what I wanted. _________________ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

It must be a new form of witnessing. Just point to your 'too and say, "Read it and weep."

That's pretty much the way he does it... the lazy way of witnessing
Stokes, that's a great avatar...is that your sacrament?
