..this is becouse tripod,..AND geocities, And a lot of other freehosts have a code that makes this impossible. If you want to show pics online,..go to http://www.boomspeed.com/host/ and get a free account,..this one works and you can download your own pics from your pc directly in there first, and you'll have them online in order to post them.(If your freespace is used, after a while, just open another account. wink

Unfortunately they have a notice up saying that due to abuse, the free accounts were not available anymore.

And I was Soooo looking forward to trying out some of the superb tips on BB code etc. Twisted Evil

Even had the pix looked out. (all my sites are on tripod)

BTW - Ferre, my head is still spinnin' from the knowledge you shared with me today. I only hope I can do it justice. But I know I won't be seeing much of my bed (or my woman) for about the next month. Rolling Eyes

OK FOLKS, some good news to share....

Your 'Lycos' account comes with 1meg "Online Drive" which you can set folders in and upload files from your PC (pix, music, etc) to.

The only problem is the URL is too long to use in your signature!

I think I have a work-around for the 'Tripod' problem. You seem to be able to link to pix on the index page of a Tripod site OK, I used it for the avatar on my forum and below...

So all it needs is to set up a Tripod index page with all the pix you wnat to use elsewhere on it!

If this doesn't work, I give up! Sad
