| Several states unsuccessfully attempted to ban Salvia in the last three years, but the measures failed because the drug is not chemically related to any illegal substances, Club 13 officials say. Missouri does have a law that prohibits sale to minors. Congress failed to pass a nationwide ban on the herb last year, but it has been banned in other countries, such as Australia, Denmark and Italy. |

Salvia is an herb that really should be considered a sacrament because it has absolutely NO recreational value... unlike other herbs and spices. I would count myself amoung the wisened who have tried to use it recreationally and quickly learned otherwise as I spent 500 years as part of the Great Wall of China.
I wonder, could our ministry be expanded to include more sacred plants from protection from the law? _________________ "Penalties against the possession of a drug

One thing that Sally is *very* good at is simply teaching us that she is NOT a drug.
I wonder what kind of a future we're looking at when our governments want to keep us under totalitarian control...

"...smells like tea and looks like marijuana.."
That line always annoys me....anything green with leaves looks exactly like cannabis now?

I think the answer is self-evident in your question.

Technically, you're right. Salvia is the only known psychoactive sage, and also part of the mint family. _________________ "Penalties against the possession of a drug

Actually, I meant that since every news hype reads something like "a hallucinogen available to kids over the internet that looks like marijuana but has the same effects as the illegal drugs LSD and exstacy, Salvia is quickly taking over the club scene" that it makes just as much sense to claim that Cannabis looks like Salvia.
And check out Nepeta Cesearea Boisse, there were a few great references and Bio Assays posted on the Shaman-Austalis.com forums. Another source of non-opium opiods. It stands to reason that the mint family and all its wonderful trichomes may still have more in store for us. _________________ The free exercise and enjoyment of religious profession and
