NORML Affiliates To Protest Pot Prohibition On Tax Day

Washington, DC: On Monday, April 16, 2007, NORML chapters around the country will hold protests at their local post-offices to call on elected officials to tax and regulate cannabis in a manner similar to alcohol and tobacco.

I would think people will be in a hurry that day and not receptive to hearing anything that takes over three to four seconds of thier time.

Also, a tax stamp will not reduce our taxes, just make us pay more. I don't know what dealers you guys use, but my guys don't charge a weed tax.

Would it not be better to maybe hit people when they have some time to chill and actually listen to the cause, and not on a day that has such negative overtones?
