National Geographic Channel pissed me off!!!

Discovery, National Geo, History, TLC, etc, are all the same folks.

Notice they have about 40 shows they keep recycling amongst themselves.

Preface: We all know the story of the Knights Templar, and how they were rounded up on October 13, 1307 and tortured until they confessed to all sorts of things.

Tortured.

I've seen tons of documentarys about this, and they all mention torture.

About a month ago, I was watching a reletively newer doc on the National Geo channel about this. However, they did not use the word TORTURE. They actually said that the Knights Templar confessed under INTENSE INTERROGATION TECHINQUES.

I shit you not. They called it Intense Interrogation.

The war mongering corporatists trying to subtly change the way we think.

I share your feelings about those channels. They are some sort of propaganda machine and a tool to anchor false historical "facts", ideas and opinions into the minds of those who view their programming.

Disney channel is just the same crap, I've seen a couple of their children programs (I call it the Fat Kids channel) and that's pure moralistic propaganda catered to children in a pink cloud kinda way.

Welcome to new speak... The word torture upsets people and we don't want that because they might do something if they get too upset. When people don't want the burden of thinking for themselves the "Party" will gladly do it for them.

We laughed at the ideas in high school english while we were reading Orwell's "1984" and Huxley's "A Brave New World".We couldn't or perhaps didn't want to conceive of such things ever coming to pass. Alas, they have and we are walking down a dark road. Gattaca anyone?
