Music in a post

ok if you like to put music or sounds in posts to spice em up a lil
heres how to do it

<bgsound src="your sound file url here">

you may use wav files and mp3 files the sound file needs to be loaded on the web on a page somewhere.in other words you cant use that great mp3 on your hard drive

there are hundreds of sights with online wav files and online mp3s

www.pigsnpoof.com/wavs/a

this place has thousands of sounds sayings etc find the one you like right clik it and look at the properties the url you will put in the string that you typed

so that is the magic of sound

one note this source code is not cross browser compatible it only works for IE as far as i know so go on and try one guys!!!!

high!!! me again suppose youd like a nice pic link that when pic is clikked it opens another window and takes you to a different web page

to do that

<a href=http:// the url of the page you want to open target="_blank">
<img src="the url of the picture goes here"></a>

so with your info typed in the post would show a picture that when clikked will take you to a different page in a new window that can be closed after viewing leaving the surfer at your site i will post an example that works below this one

GREAT!!

I added a board, "The forums, how to use them", just now, for these kind of html tricks, inspired by you all, and I have also allowed about every html code tag in the board's settings so we can "spice up" our messages a little. So if you have any other tips feel welcome to open a topic for them there, maybe we'll end up with a nice collection of html tips AND fun-boards!
