Study Shows Smoking Pot Provides Pain Relief From HIV-Related Neuropathy
A new study shows that the patient with HIV can relief of pain if they smoke marijuana. They can relief the pain of neuropathy, a form of nerve damage, which can be hard to treat with traditional medication.
The researchers compared medical marijuana to a placebo in 28 patients with HIV-related neuropathic pain that was not controlled with pain medications.
The team randomly assigned each participant to smoke either medical marijuana (cannabis) or a cigarette that resembled marijuana but did not contain the drug’s active chemical, THC.
The participants smoked the material four times a day for five straight days, then abstained for two weeks, and then followed the same experiment again. Each person also continued to take prescribed painkillers during the trial.
Smoking the pot provided greater pain relief than smoking the placebo. Forty-six percent of participants had clinically meaningful pain relief with pot compared to 18% with placebo.
Medical marijuana can be a painkiller in patients with HIV- related neuropathy pain, but it can have a negative impact on certain mental skills. Smoking marijuana can also cause lungs problems. |

Haha, smoking the placebo. Yuk!
All patients of suffering any pain from any disease can benefit from the pain subduing properties of cannabis. We already know this.
The reason HIV patients have so much pain and deterioration is because of the drugs given to them to fight the HIV. The problem with that is there is no virus for aids or HIV. It has NEVER been isolated. The test for the virus does NOT isolate the virus, but looks for natural reactions in the body and uses a measurement of these to diagnose AIDS/HIV. Until they isolate a virus there is no such thing as HIV or AIDS. They have completely 100% ignored scientific processes necessary to confirm a viral infection, and have somehow gotten away with it.
These people's behind these lies are sick, and so are AIDS patients, but in the case of the victims, most of it is from the drugs that are killing them and possibly other underlying ailments.
