The Marihemp Network Message Boards
will be closing permanently on or about October 7th.

Answers to various questions regarding the message boards closing:
Q: Why are the message boards closing now?
A: It was time. Many other websites now have message boards, many of which offer more topics on a more advanced platform, such as vBulletin.
Q: Will the message board content be lost?
A: No. It will be saved indefinitely.
Q: Will message board posts remain publicly available after closure?
A: Maybe. The message board system archives posts, so it's possible.
It will depend on the ability to convert the archives to static html files and the hosting requirements.
I may make the message board posts available on DVD to some mods and others upon request. I've already done that in the past.
Bottom line is the message board content will be kept, but may not be easily accessible on-line.
Q: Can someone else take over the message boards?
A: No. However, one is welcome to start their forum, and if it's useful, we can link to it from the Marihemp Network homepage; see the next question about that.
Q: Will the Marihemp Network homepage at marihemp.com remain up?
A: Yes. However, some content, in particular, such as at gallery.marihemp.com will be taken off-line and/or relocated in the near future.

During the past decade, the message boards have been a great resource for many thousands of people. However, the time has come for the message boards to close. Thank you everyone who has participated here over the years - it's been a great run.
