WOW that's good news
Hopefully they get some common sence in the gov. and make medical mj legal,
as it should be anyway. : _________________ █ Please read the Board Rules and Posting, and you

Yeah, thats for the State of New South Wales, not Queensland or other states... I hope that other states will follow the NSW's path. Otherwise if it fails to legalise Medical MJ in Queensland, and I need the medical mj services, all I just have to do is move least 125kms south to the NSW border and still visit my friends in Queensland and live like a Queenslander while living in State of NSW.
People say that laws (both mj and non-mj) in Queensland is similar as the State of California in USA. But I can't confirm that even California has Medical Mj laws I believe.
I am so happy that the Preimer of NSW has finally opened his eyes!

I certainly hope that this comes to pass, ad does not end up being like the medical laws here in the states, that the federal government seems to like to overide whenever they feel so inclined. but either way it is a step in the right direction, and like Echo said One step at a time. _________________ Peace to all,

The only problem facing NSW med users at this stage is that there is no legal way for them to get it and the government hasn't decided how it's going to be done yet either, hey moz anything much happening on that scene the quicker it gets into operation the quicker the rest of the states will follow suit.
Not only is this a step forward for Australia, it's a kick in the teeth to the DEA, I think that the governments that have been basing their arguments on DEA propaganda all this time are starting to realise how many lies they've been fed.
