We must take a stand! we must reduce Florida to a penensula of mud to save us all from the terrable devil weed!!!!

Well...a peninsula of mud was how it began...before robber barons used the Army Corps of Engineers to create a real estate bonanza... I suppose to a spit of mud it shall return.

These buggers are quite mad.

Whoever first said "the cure is worse than the disease" could have been talking about Florida’s history of trying to eradicate one environmental problem by creating a bigger one.

Introducing a killer fungus with a 40-year life span into this ecosystem in order to destroy a relatively modest marijuana crop is just not worth the risk mates, not to mention the harm it may cause to the folks in Fl.

hi all
can someone tell me if this is the same biological warfare agent that the u.s. threatened to spray all over columbia and mexico a while back?i know they are spraying defoliants all over these countries from c-130 tankers at the moment but did they ever get permission to spray this fungus?i mean , personaly i dont care about a bunch of darkies in the third world having their crops destroyed by the U.S. but doing it in the god blessed U.S. OF A.!!!! surely not!god forbid.!!!

personaly , i hope they do release it.i hope it mutates and spreads right accross the USA and wipes out your billion pound agri-corporations and then , maybe , when america gets a taste of the poverty and starvation they have inflicted on others they will wake up!!!sorry americans but its time to stand up against fascism.you are either with us or you are against us!your either in the side of evil (us) or you are on the side of good (them) notice the way bush said that?implying that we are evil and those against 'us' are the good?

in any civilised country these frankenstien 'scientists' would be dragged out into the streets and their laboratories would be razed to the ground!!!of course , as an avowed pacifist i could never condone such actions. (reaches for can of petrol and box of matches) no , what we should do is reason with these people.and when the devil comes i am going to reason with him too.i am sure he will see the error of his ways.yep thats the answere.negotiate with these evil people.i have written a letter to the U.S. govt. asking them not to be evil anymore.problem solved.all is well.i am certain they will listen.

Americans are allowed to bear arms to protect themselves against evil and corrupt government right?
so can you please tell me what the f#ck you are all waiting for!!!you all run out of bullets or what? Wink ('Evil or Very Mad')

Hi Don Quixote -- thank you for your thoughtful insights. I'd like to make a couple of points --

Quote:
personaly , i hope they do release it.i hope it mutates and spreads right accross the USA

Unfortunately, fungi do not recognize national borders, although I'm absolutely certain that we Americans deserve all the misery you wish upon us.

Quote:
and wipes out your billion pound agri-corporations

Unfortunately, corporations do not recognize national borders.

There are no Amerikan or Canadian or British corporations. There is only THE CORPORATION -- and it seeks to own everything and everyone, everywhere. British Petroleum? Hah. Ain't no such animal. It's all one.

Quote:
and then , maybe , when america gets a taste of the poverty and starvation they have inflicted on others they will wake up!!!

Yep -- we're all living the Fat Cat life over here. Health care for all, nutritious diets, two cars in every garage -- membership down at the Country Club -- education for all -- Yes -- we're living it up! I've got to hurry up and type this, so I can get down to my yacht at the regatta...

Quote:
sorry americans but its time to stand up against fascism.

Gee...no kidding? Really? Do ya think? Tell us more, oh wise one.

Quote:
you are either with us or you are against us!your either in the side of evil (us) or you are on the side of good (them) notice the way bush said that?implying that we are evil and those against 'us' are the good?

Yes! We're all quite impressed at how successful the British have been at resisiting the Global Corporate takeover. When you finish getting things mopped up, come over here and show us how it's done. We obviously need your wise guidance.

Quote:
800,000 germans were imprisoned for resisting nazism

The U.S. currently has the largest documented prison population in the world, both in absolute and proportional terms. We've got roughly 2.03 million people behind bars, or 701 per 100,000 population -- with the majority of those imprisoned for crimes for which there is no victim.

Quote:
500,000 germans were tortured to death for resisting nazism

Unfortunately, our current torture statistics are woefully out-of-date. Probably an oversight at the Census Bureau.

Quote:
so whats your excuse.???

We need offer no excuses to ANYONE -- least of all to YOU, Don Quixote.

Yelling at the Yanks on THESE forums is like yelling at the German, French and Dutch Resistance for their lack of success in defeating the Nazis.

We have an administration which, apparently, NO ONE VOTED FOR. This is known as a coup d'tat

We're doing the best we can, as I'm sure you are in Great Britain.

A little more solidarity and a little less moronic thrashing about might be in order, here. Or go over to a pro-Bush/Blair forum and yell at them.

Or...hey...hop on a boat and come show us how it's done -- after you get done fixing things in Britain. We need a few folks of your mettle and calibre to show us how it's done!

EDITED AFTERTHOUGHT:

er is everybody on cocain or something?did i miss something?what the fuck are we all arguing about?arent we on the same side?

Now THAT makes sense.

"Hi Don Quixote -- thank you for your thoughtful insights. I'd like to make a couple of points --"

you are welcome bro.we are all entitled to our opinion.its called free speach.

"Unfortunately, corporations do not recognize national borders."

we call that 'globalisation'

"British Petroleum? Hah. Ain't no such animal. It's all one. "

er actualy there is a 'british patroleum'.they are part of a cartel consisting of 'BP' and 'EXXON'.they own a chunk of each others shares.

"Yep -- we're all living the Fat Cat life over here. Health care for all, nutritious diets, two cars in every garage -- membership down at the Country Club -- education for all -- Yes -- we're living it up! I've got to hurry up and type this, so I can get down to my yacht at the regatta... "

sorry , i thought you were better off than most of the rest of the world.i thought you had the highest standard of living on earth.i thought you had the highest per-capita consumption of protein in the world.i thought you had the highest level of car ownership in the world. etc...etc...
personaly i dont own a car.i dont like what they stand for , so i dont own one.

"The U.S. currently has the largest documented prison population in the world, both in absolute and proportional terms. We've got roughly 2.03 million people behind bars, or 701 per 100,000 population -- with the majority of those imprisoned for crimes for which there is no victim."

yes thats right the highest per-capita prison population in the world. followed closely by the brits.even hitler called the brits nazi's and kept telling them 'you brits invented nazi'ism,we just copied it.'

"Unfortunately, our current torture statistics are woefully out-of-date. Probably an oversight at the Census Bureau. "

no , that would be because you ship your prisoners abroad to be tortured.apparently it is not legal in america.contact the CIA i am sure they have accurate records.

"We need offer no excuses to ANYONE -- least of all to YOU, Don Quixote. "

oh , ok.so what was your slightly agitated response about then.
oh and by the way , are we not on the same planet?this planet you and the brits are swallowing up.i live here too.
america = 1/30th of the worlds population. and yet 25% of the worlds polution is caused by america.
what proportion of the earths limited , finite resources does america consume i wonder.who are the end users of these resources?surely bush and his demon mates arent eating them!

"Yelling at the Yanks on THESE forums is like yelling at the German, French and Dutch Resistance for their lack of success in defeating the Nazis. "

yeah but at least they tried!!!and i wonder if they would have been so indignant about any critisism directed towards the nazi's.
i wonder if they would have jumped up to defend a moraly bankrupt regime so fast?

"We have an administration which, apparently, NO ONE VOTED FOR. This is known as a coup d'tat "

we have two parties here who both have exactly the same policies.it makes no difference who sits on the 'throne' of power, they persue exactly the same policies.the change of face is just a distraction.

"We're doing the best we can, as I'm sure you are in Great Britain."

no actualy mate the brits are doing FUCK ALL.utterly spineless like selfish little fat spoiled kids as long as its happening to some 'foreign johnny' and not 'us' nobody gives a flying fuck.the brits are basicaly ignorant and proud of it.!!

"A little more solidarity and a little less moronic thrashing about might be in order, here. Or go over to a pro-Bush/Blair forum and yell at them."

sorry but , even though i am a moron , i wont be joining up.forgive my lack of solidarity.i look silly in jackboots.(tho i do own a rather fetching pair of mussolinni type trousers.cooool)
if its all the same with you i will just continue with the moronic thrashing thing.call me kinky , but i like it. :-)

"Or...hey...hop on a boat and come show us how it's done -- after you get done fixing things in Britain. We need a few folks of your mettle and calibre to show us how it's done! "

not fucking likely mate.not now , not fucking ever.no fucking thanks.of course with my past 'activities' if i did try to enter the U.S.A. or any of its territories i would be arrested immediatly and deported.by the way , we have planes here too.(unfotunatly for the envoronment)

"Thanks for the word! "

you are most welcome bro. ben.words are cheap , costing me little effort at all.actions speak louder than words and i would love to tell you all about that.but , unfortunatly the CIA and MI5 are operating this little 'listening post' called GCHQ up here in good old blighty , and through this they monitor all electro-magnetic communications in the northern hemisphere.including , of course , this very forum.this is done under the auspices of the Regulatory Investigative Powers Act or RIPA as we lovingly call it.i was arrested there a while back.its up in menworth hills.

sorry i couldnt do the fancy-pants quote thing , but hey i am a moron whadaya expect.

by the way bro Ben.at the risk of being accused of shouting I AM NOT BRITISH.i am irish/trinidadian.i really dont like being called british.its an Irish thang.

love ya really Ben , hope you dont take it all too seriously.you are a pretty cool bloke and no i dont want the american people to suffer.i want you all to go back to the original principles your founding fathers layed out in your constitution (i am telling ya , those boyos must have been Irish)they were a bunch of people with foresight and they laid out a game plan to defend you against the utterly corrupt assholes running your country at the mo.thats why they are trying to dismantle it.

Well....

In that my family immigrated from County Cork to Mexico in 1822 -- before the Texas Revolution -- all is forgiven, then.

I'll buy ya a pint and a wee dram, should ever we meet.

...but you DO get my point. Half the people in this country might need yelling at -- but they ain't on THESE FORUMS --

...and if you don't get it, you still get your pint and your fuckin' dram.

Bliss on,
Ben

yeah i know bro mystic.
you are right.needlesly offensive.sorry about the momentary lapse of reason there. ahem.point well taken actualy , the people on this forum are nothing like the kind of people i am talking about.thanks for the reminder.

what winds me up so much is seeing the bush/blair camp utilising religious and patriotic hysteria to follow the mein kampf doctrine of world domination to the letter.

things here in england just reached a whole new level of crazy.we are actualy drawing up lists of 'unaceptable behaviour' as a pretext for deporting muslim clericks back to countries where they are guaranteed to be butchered.an effective death sentance.
so much for peoples rights of free expression and religious freedom!!!

wasn't hitlers second book (the sequel to mein kampf) called the new world order , the thousand year reich or something like that???

the fact that people believe bush or blair have any religious belief other than freemason devil worshipping also winds me up.seeing a bunch of simpering , fawning bishops and other people in silly hats kissing ass with those demons and all they represent makes me physicaly ill!

but then i was baptised a catholic , and look whos sitting on top of that big pile of gold lately!!!

LoL Zero! There are some good points in this thread, but you've been here long enough to know that they have all been re-hashed several times.

I need reminding, too, from time to time. We both live in nations full of Sleep Walkers -- going through the motions, but giving no thought to anything.

Quote:

Hysteria is exactly what it is. I've been reading and hearing reports of Cyndy Sheehan's vigil outside the Bush "ranch" -- ain't no "ranch" to it -- his estate near Crawford, TX.

The last weekend, there were thousands of pro-peace folks out there supporting Cindy -- and a few hundred pro-war/bush folks -- on the other side of the road from the Peace Camp.

Sheriff's deputies were on hand to keep the groups seperated -- they kept their backs to the peace folks, 'cause they knew that they were not causing trouble -- but had to keep their eyes on the pro-war folks, because THEY were violent and full of hate. Absolutely full of hate, tearing up the commemorative crosses at what was called Arlington West -- spinning wheels of their $50,000 SUV's to kick up dust and gravel toward the peace vigil.

These are extremely sick individuals -- driven by hysteria -- and a "foreign policy" that is based on hysteria.

I do see hope, though. What I think we're witnessing here is a true paradigm shift -- the loud death of an old, worn out Reality Model -- which is being replaced by a new Model -- a new way of thinking.

Such times of shift -- similar to the discovery of agriculture, the industrial revolution, etc -- are extremely dangerous and difficult times...and that's what we're going through now.

A real "shifting sands" sort of uneasiness -- the New Reality Model being somewhat unclear, in that we are creating it in the NOW.

I hope I'm right. The future of this planet depends on it.

oh crap!was that me???

I WOULD LIKE TO APPOLOGISE TO ALL MY AMERICAN BROTHERS AND SISTERS FOR MY EARLIER POST IN THIS THREAD.

AND MOST ESPECIALY TO BROTHER MYSTIC POWER WHO IS ONE COOL FELLA.YOU DID NOT DESERVE MY CAUSTIC COMMENTS.SORRY BRO.

SIMPLY PUT , MY COMMENTS WERE RACIST AND PRETTY IMMATURE.SORRY TO YOU ALL AND ANYONE ELSE OFFENDED.(i am not like that , i was possesed i tell ya, possesed!)

i would have removed those rediculous posts , but the response was too intelligent and measured so i will leave it there as an example of me being a plonka.

(muttering furiously , ian goes to the fridge for some more 'humble pie')

i think the blue haze of pollution hanging in the air in my home town is making me crazy , visibility is down to 250 metres and they are warning the 'old and infirm' to stay indoors and close their windows!!!(says ian desperately clutching at straws and reaching for a feeble excuse!)

PEACE (which probably sounds a bit funny comming from me in this context , but you all know i am barking mad so what the heck.!!!)

thank you brother mystic power

both for your intelligent contribution to my education and for the graceful responce to my unacceptable rudeness and behavior.

i also thank you for bearing no grudge against me and for gracefully accepting my sincere and genuine appology to you and the great American people.

America , as the most powerful nation on earth , is the last great hope for human kind , a human kind that took a wrong turn somewhere along the line.

we forgot our heart , our soul , our very humanity.but i have faith in our future and i know that in the grand scheme of things there is a plan.

a plan not made by men or women but by something for more profound , far more ancient.older than time , the universe or our 'home' amongst the bright stars.

i have my own theories about that but i wont bore you all with them in my usual over - opinionated way. ahem.

i was going to pm my appology to you (like a real coward.! ahem)but i thought it only fair and honourable to say it publicly.

you are a sound man , so thanks again.(you look pretty dapper in those photos on you site too!!)

deepest respect to you and the people of the United States of America.

RESPECT.
