I am trying to figure something out, I love the cannabibles by Jason King for their informative layout's and amazing diversity on strain knowledge, albeit biasied through Kings looking glass and extreamly snobby tastes(and who can forget the great forward by Roger in the cannabible 2). but my question is, Where the hell is Soma's product. I see all the other big names in dutch breeding, so would it be so wrong to ask for some of somas lovely plants to be reviewed. Soma, who in my opinion, is a master grower who really knows how to "listen" to his plants. Soma is in tune with the spiritual side of cannabis like all others could only hope to be, and yet he is given no due respect in any of the three cannabibles. In fact the only mention of him that I can find is when King claims that Soma offers an infferior rip off of the Diseal lineage.(pg. 64. The Cannabible 3)
I have a lot of respect for both these guys but what's the deal??? is their some kind of beef between the two or what???

I have the 'sneak preview of Cannabible 3' article in Cannabis Culture #59, mar/apr '06, and to quote Jason King, he says "Unfortunately, Soma's "NYC Diesel" barely, if at all, resembles the real deal . . . and is much weaker than the real Diesel."
Clearly, this is a cut down. I tried the NYC Diesel from Dampkring coffeehouse in 2005, which I believe was grown from Soma's seeds. It was very nice, but not overwhelming. However, there is not very much out there that will overwhelm me.
I am very curious whether there is indeed a difference between the Massachusetts Diesel that Jason King talks about, and Soma's Diesel.
