| I find it odd that we tend to refer to God as a he. God is equally she as well. God is a noun. God is a verb. God is just an adjective to describe that which we have no words to describe. God is the ultimate paradox of everything and nothing coexisting/nonexisting in harmony and at war. |
I like that: Noun. Verb. Adjective.
God is a sphere whose circumference is nowhere and whose center is everywhere.
IT is, indeed, the great paradox. I like calling IT: The Great Mystery.
Defining IT or naming IT is less important to me than being friends with IT.

did I hear someone sayín Go with the flow?
from seed to a harvest... God how's that ?
God I wish I knew...
you know how it is when you are tripping... by the time you want to say
something it is already gone... like , nothing matters anywayz, but the joy
of being alive, experiencing the flow of time... with great tools of magic.

"we were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within Us.
It's not just in some of us ;it's in everyone. And as we let our light shine, we
unconsciously give other people the permission to do the same.As we are liberated from our own fears, our presence automatically liberates others.

The 'trouble' with being in the now is that it's such a bummer when we can't remember why we were angry and upset because it's now in the past....
Well, DUH...

"Is the Christian/Muslim/Jewish view of God primitive?" Perhaps God is waiting for the humans to stop being so primitive. One should not fall into the trap of judging Christ by the actions of the Christians. Should we judge Washington by the actions of Jr? Remember, Christ was long gone by the time the atrocities commited in his name started. If I know Jesus, I know he would have chased Jr. and his cronies out with as much enthusiasm as he chased the bankers. |

Right on. The Christ is the God within Us waiting to be manifested, to raise us up to what We truly are.
"The Temple of God is within you." - Jesus
The idea that God is an external Deity sitting on a throne is just a bad metaphor. God is the internal Deity beyond the ego. The Actor playing all the roles. The Love waiting to be expressed. It is so minutely small you could miss it if you look to hard. But once you find it, It's infinitely more vast than you could have ever imagined. It welcomes you as the character you think you are. But finding God means dieing to the self, releasing the grip on the character role you've been playing, and reconnecting with your own divinity. That's the most frightening and rewarding thing to do. Trusting Love. _________________ "Penalties against the possession of a drug

God is a flower that grew a nose in order to smell itself.
And so on.
Metaphor is about the best we can do.
I have a feeling that The Great Mystery gets a chuckle out of remaining a mystery.
IT seems to enjoy tapping you on the shoulder, then quickly looking innocently away.
