I am a Christian also. Not ashamed of it. But not planning on beating someone over the head with my bible.
But I do think if I were to quote scripture to Zero, who politely (IMHO) made it known that he did not appreciate scripture being directed toward him, it would be inflamatory.
But I have to say also, statements like "ALL" and brainwashed fit in that category also. It is inflamatory. |

alright, ill make this clear right now.
I dont believe it is all Xtians that do this, just like i dont think all black people are gangsters or all white people hate black people.
I have xtians in the colorado chapter who dont ever quote the bible. its because they know better than to bring up religion during church. _________________ www.shoutwire.com

its how the thc ministry of colorado works.
at first, we tried using our church time to discuss religion, but we found none of us agreed with eath other.
therefor talk of religion has been banned from our meetings, and everyone just hangs out. Its been much nicer lately.
I think we found that religion really doesnt matter to us, what matters is we are friends.
It doesnt matter what we believe, what matters is that we stick together no matter what. thats what you call true brotherhood. _________________ www.shoutwire.com

I am not a Christian, I do respect everybody's point of view, I hope.
To answer your first question Zero, I believe that the the THC-Ministry is for people who use cannabis religiously and spiritually as a sacramental tool.
For anybody else who wants to join, there's a way, there are the papers and it's never too late to change their mind. Whatever that is. I have many friends who do not follow my path and do not have my believes. They are my friends nevertheless, still they do not have the motivation to join the Ministry. That doesn't make us any lesser friends. _________________

Is the THC-Ministry not built on the principal of acceptance? If a Muslim came in and tried to quote the Qur'an, would you be as inhospitable?
Agreed, Christians are known for trying peoples' patience. Especially the fundamentalists, who protest abortion clinics and stand out on street corners trying to convert unwilling people. Those same people are also known for being nice, polite, and respectful, until you piss them off for not agreeing with them.
However, I don't believe we should be so unaccepting as to prohibit people from posting their beliefs. We should draw the line at things such as religious debate (where everyone is wrong), and pushing one's beliefs on others. The Christian bashing in and of itself is disrespectful, and in doing so you are reducing yourself to the level of those whom you are insulting. Please, exercise the utmost discretion in posting.
As for the topic's question, why would anyone want to join the THC-Ministry, if not to partake of the sacrament? I just can't figure that out. Otherwise, I see no reason not to welcome anyone who wishes to join.

| Good points Bro Maynard, but does anyone really think G-d is alright with abortion? Big business wants to use the aborted fetus as a cash crop. The time will come when women are paid to get pregnant just so they can abort. Look, the sun shines on the wicked just as it does on the good and the rain falls on the good just as it falls on the wicked. The unborn are a sheild for the rest of us aginst G-d's rath. For their sake and the sake of others who do not and never will have a chance, he with holds punishment we so justly deserve. If you support abortion you better think again, the time may come when G-d's patience runs out, remember the tsunami? That was just a sun shower on Miami beach on the fourth of July! A real rain is coming people, don't look for protection, you aborted it! |

Whoa brother!
This post sounds an awful lot like a very ominous prophecy against someones' opinion on this board..! People here may not appreciate the judgement towards them you seem to be suggesting here. This is not specifically a christian forum. _________________ Fyrefly1

I think abortion is the womans choice and has nothing to do with god or the rest of us. _________________ www.shoutwire.com
