I am new to this site. I work as a night auditor and have used my time at work and home to scour through the fourms. The one thing that I have yet to run accross is what would the THC-Ministry be "classified" as a religion? This has been bugging me since I started looking, and printing all the legal things that would help with any court case that should arise. I would like to open my own Charter here in Virginia, and am trying to build up a legal case so that if the need ever arises I am ready to help defend any practitioner, also myself, of this religion here in VA.
Any would be greatly appreciated on this and also on how to open my own charter too.
Anywho I have to get some work done so that I can get home to start making a holy the old fashiend way. Blessing around and good smoking. |

The THC-Ministry is just that a Ministry. Its non-denominational which means we don't discriminate. You can be a Buddhist, Muslim, Christian or a Rastafarian. Roger has a 1-2-3 sanctuary kit which provide some paper work for you. Its a good start to begin your research. Surf around for a while and you find more info and such on this site.

So since I grew up learning some of the teachings of an old Indian shaman and I am recieving a religious title of Shaman from the ULC that would be the religion that I would use if questioned?
Please excuse me for questioning the official religious side of the ministry. I am new here and this is still kinda overwhelming and all. But I believe that a good defense to any court case should be made before hand so that if the need arises I can shut it down at the preliminary hearing.
Also was not sure if I should have made a different thread about opening up my own charter thought that I could smoke two s at once with the same mouth.
Blessings all around and happy smoking |

The very roots of our religion is indeed shamanism.
We do welcome people from all other religions but THC Ministry is not affiliated with any of those religions. _________________ █ Please read the Board Rules and Posting, and you

if questioned i would say you are a shaman who is a member of the thc ministry. the same as a christian is still a christian but can be a member of our ministry here.
hope this helps. _________________ "look...the people you are looking for are the people you depend on.we cook your meals , we haul your trash ,we connect your calls, we drive your ambulances,we guard you while you sleep"

Hey mate, I'm also a Shaman and a member of the THC-Ministry, in VA, and I wrote a book on Shamanism entitled "Awakening: Theory and Practice for the Aspiring Shaman."
If you need any help or info, feel free to email me at "silentwolfxvx@yahoo.com". |
