High THC friends,

I found this story from a korean professor who identified an orthodox christian saint being derived or related to the buddha

http://sunsite.berkeley.edu/OMACL/Barlaam/

I did not read it all but the first part I read and it was very interresting, also for some gnostic christians......so here I want to share it with you

Any news from our skythian buddhists?

Greetings,

Alan Wink

funny thing about catholic saints...a good 70% of them never actually existed. they were mostly archetypal figures or characters from other (mostly pagan) traditions. they were adapted from pagan and other traditions and represent the "heavenly caste," with a God at the top, and smaller, less powerful gods or demi-gods beneath. a careful study of catholic history and saint mythology, compared with mythologies from around the world, will reveal startling and delightful continuities.
