I need some help :( My love doesnt understand....

My girl friend the woman that I have loved for 2 years and still love now and hope to marry doesnt understand my beliefs in canabis sacrament I am new to religion of any kind I havnt set foot in a church with the thought of god in more than 10 years. I want to find a way to understand and to let others understand I have a hard time explaing to my girl friend that i'm not trying to take avantage of the "system" I truly believe that I have a spiritual side inline with god's view yet I also feel that openly addmitting to my spiritual side and my honest beliefs that canabis is leader to my path for happiness, good, and prossperity. How can I explain to her this with out crossing the bounderies...

Basicly every belief I have is shunned by every one I know If any of you are incontact with the Church Of Cognizance in arizona which I will soon try to contact my self.If any of you know of there validity or if there is actualy a place that I can go (church) and some one I can talk to please help me I want to find and except my spirituality and even God(I have a hard time placing faith in a proclaimed higher being of any kind but dont mind embracing good of anykind to better understand what I speak of find my other posts that explain what I believe in) Pleaase help find the path...

I will try to get my girl friend who doesnt believe in any of what i've told her about the THC-Ministries to come and post here under my NIC to better help her understand what these beliefes are and that they are valid and true. My girl friend is one of the most stuborn people i've ever met and can be bitter at times and wont hesitate to try to smack anything you say down so please bare with me and her to try to help her understand and be prepaired for what she has to say and the questions she will ask. She is a kind person but not quick to trust please back all or any information provided with solid proven facts.

Brother DOS, I sure hope this helps ya 'cause I hate to waste my time givin' advice if it don't do no good. Grizzly Adams aside, when I met my girlfriend/now wife, I didn't smoke at all but I bitched endlessly about everything. I suggested to my girlfriend/now wife that maybe I should try inhaling the incense and voila! I didn't have pms anymore! (I don't apologize about the analogy, honestly if you knew me you'd say that was polite).

Anyways, I have come to learn about the herb and respect it as you have. I have made this known to my wife by expressing my growing knowledge of the herb and definitely by allowing the peace of the herb to be expressed through me. In other words, I have learned how the herb helps me and I make certain that I stay within those guidelines. Wink

Just be honest with her and learn more so that she can see you really mean what you say. Very Happy

Well thank you all for the responses the seriousnessness of the situation couldnt be expressed enough apparently my girl friend tends to think that all my life goals revolve arround the sacrament while it may seem to be true there is a greater truth to the way i feel which is hard for me to express or explain. Its my medacine its my soul its what keeps me motivated to do and do more. I guess your right showing my sincerity may provail to show her that my beliefs are true I dont have to hide with her I can talk openly to her about anything but her perceptions are mostly assumptions created by long strong prohibitions and growing up as southern babtist her mind is not quick to turn and only hard facts can make her budge. and please if any 1 knows anything about the Church Of Cognizance please fill me in.

Like, what's her opinion of the sacrament? Does she smoke with you? Why not? Does she have a religious (or any) prejudice towards the sacrament?

Aloha. A very good question to answer and problem to solve. I have a point of view to offer.

What, or WHO is the blank? Your sacrament, or your lover? I know that you wrote that 'cannabis is leader to your path for happiness, good and prosperity', however that is exactly the muse that women desire to be.

Our lovers want, need and deserve to be the path to our greater happiness and good. But what of our precious sacrament? The opener of (part of) our mind, soul and spirit. What part does it play compared to our woman, our lover, our wife?

It has worked best for me when I am in love with a woman who is also an enjoyer of cannabis. If not, we gravitate to the very same divide that you are experiencing right now.

She used to smoke alot but the prohibition kind got to her a head a lil bit she still smokes every now and then but she says shes doesnt like it anymore because it makes her feel guilty of things she shouldnt feel guilty for she doesnt care how much i smoke I mean if it wasnt for the smoke we literaly would have never met. Recently she hasnt minded smoking a lil bit of sacrament with some finly ground sage. I got ot go Very Happy
