| I home brew my own wine. Mainly Honey mead, and i have been thinking of try a veary special blend one of these days. What do you guys think? Honey mead with an averadge alchohol contint of about 15% with buds floting in it? As anyone trtyed this? I am considering it as a scrimental drink, sence it will contain 2 things i considerd sacrid, canibus, and honey. |

sounds good to me.
There are two ways you could make it, either adding the buds during the brewing process or soaking them in the wine for a period of time afterwards. I have heard of people making canna beer by adding buds with the hops.
You may find it hard to get a significant THC absorbtion with an alcoholic content of only 15%. I don't really know though I've never tried it. Whatever method you use the buds will have to soak in it a long time IMO. _________________ www.mullup.org |

| generaly the mead has to age atleast 6 moths after primary fermintation is done befor it is realy good for consumption. And primary firmintation can take up to 3 months. Was thinking i could also supliment the the strength of teh canabises spirit in the mead by preparing a tincure that cousl be added to the glass at time of consumption or to teh wine bottel at botelsing. I have Never tryed adding distiled spirits to my mead so i dont know how it will efect the spirit of the mead it's self. Any Sujestions for a name for such a devine and sacrid drink? Funy. hidden mening, latin, obvious what woudl you sujest. I am thinkgni somthing that tels you what is in it buy is not obvious. Neclor of teh Gods might work. |

I have done this. Don't leave the plant matter floating in the final prep. It is an aesthetic thing. It looks better without the extra shit in it - believe me.
Flavored meads are called methelgrins. Try clover honey, some wild flower petals, and pot. The extra stuff goes in at the time you innoculate your boiled honey and water mix. Fermentation progresses while the extra ingredients are in the mix. Filter before you bottle. Allow a few weeks for aging, ....at least. Uncork and enjoy! _________________ Rollme-wan Mordoobie, the Redeyed Jedi
