To begin with, Hello everyone. I have browsed this forum a bit and I must say I am very interested. However I do have a few questions. I will try to keep this as short as possible. (I have a tendancy to ramble somtimes) So far in looking though all the information you have here, I am inclined to believe that you have a flawless record in Religious Cannabis vs state/federal goverment legal cases. Is this a true fact? How when you have been called for advise/help have you helped Mr Christie? Can you state some examples please?
As I stated earlyer I am very interested in the ministry, I however live in Kansas U.S.A. They have very very harsh laws here in the bible belt. I.E A first Offence of possesion with any amount is a misdemeanor with 1 year and $2.500 in punishment. A subsiquent offence with any amount is a misdemeanor or felony (I guess up to the Judge) with 10-42 months and $100.000 in punishment. Paraphernalia possession for personal use is the same as the first offence of possesion. Paraphernalia possession for cultivation of more than 5 plants is the same as a subsiquent offence of possesion. Finally Cultivation of 5 or more plants is a felony with 138-204 months and a variable fine (my guess is very high). I havent and wont even touch on the tax evasion charges they charge you with as well.
Are there any Ministrys functioning in Kansas at this time? I would very much like to contact them. I am interested in becomeing a Minister myself. As I do belive that Cannibus is a gift from God and should be a sacrament as well as a medicine. In fact I belive it to be a gift of medicine, spirtuality, meditation and a celebration of life. There have been many times I have partaken and examined the wonders that god has left for us to discover. From the simple leaf to the delicate balance in a forest. It is truely amazeing what with the help of cannibus you can discover about nature and the creator of that nature.
I have seen that you can join and be ordained for no money. Which is a good thing in my case. A little background on me, I am a disabled person I have an uncommon arthritis that only effects males (I can not spell it right but it is similer to ankleosing spodulitus, It in effect causes calcium deposits at all my j oints essentially makeing my j oints grow into a solid bone,<lol had to space the j out in J oints as it made actual J oints sorry> as well as effects my eyesight) This has caused me to be on a goverment pay system which only allows me $440.00 dollars a month to pay rent and bills on. Cannabis which I raise is one of the most benificial releifs to pain. I have found as the prescribed "medicines" have cause other medical problems. Kansas does not and will not advocate a medical cannibus useage. So I am out of luck there.
I noticed in a post you had said something about a scholarship(I think) package, Would you please elaborate on that for me? Do not get me wrong I will be very glad to save up for the sanctuary package, If I deem it to be worth it, and from what I have read it sure seems like it would be. I guess I am asking for reasureance that it is worth it? The reason behind my asking is because I have 2 teenage boys that I raise alone so that takes up almost all of my money I have left from bills. So it would take me quite awhile to raise the $250.00 for the full protection package.
Again do not get me wrong I am by no means asking for a feel sorry for me or have a pity party for me thing here. I am just asking for the information and stateing why I am asking for the information. As well as giveing you a little background on me. (why? I really have no idea)
Well It seems to me that once again I have rambled on and on (probably not makeing the best of impressions as well) So I will close with, It seems like you people are doing great things. I myself would be proud to be able to join you in these things. I want to personally thank all of you for haveing a voice out there in the world stateing the wrongs (as well as some rights) that are being inflicted on us all. Thank you for your time. If I have any more questions I will be back to ask them hopefully in not as lengthy of a manner. |

Hi, Spacepup, welcome to the ministry
There is a ministry kit called the "1-2-3 kit" for a $25 +$5 shipping donation that includes a sanctuary sign, personal ID tags & plant tags that is very effective.
Look in the "THC ministry elswhere" heading on this board to see if any has been started in Kansas. If there isn't maybe you could start one??
Peace,

Hey there Tooter,
Aloha. This is Roger Christie in Hawai'i. Thanks for writing on our forum. You sound like a real sweet and sincere woman.
Roger Freeman has dropped-out of the ministry for now. If you want to communicate with me or others here please 'pm' me, OK? It's a more private way to visit.
All the very best to you!
Roger
