Grooved ware...bronze age.....and cannabis?

High all,

I am a bit of history freak (freak anyway cause I like Zappa music and Cannabis....but OK) and so I am always looking around for new ideas and insights. While I was looking at the programs of Time Team, an archeology program of channel 4, a new discovery was made and the explenation was mind blowing. They where in fact looking at saxon graves, but found also some bronze age pottery shard on the spot. The expert in the program started to explein that it was grooved ware and it had an typical imprint of (hemp) rope which directly (according to him) was related to what used to be in the pot; probably a beer made with hemp. Now where did this idea come from? I went to the forum on the channel 4 site and I posted a message for more information. Someone send me this link:

Now there was someone who asked if this beer was still made, so I provided a link to the german company cannabia, a legal beer made with low THC hemp. Upon my return to the forum my messages where erased and I could not log in anymore is this the TV channel that creates the Ali G shows????? Anyway this bronze age thing is interresting especially if any proof is found, most estimate the arrival of hemp to europe in later times; in england even after 400 AD.

I tried also to order this ceramics book but I did not get a response on my e-mails....I still hope to get a copy of it one day....
