Yes, I realize it wasn't legalized in your abode.
My key intention here is to get a set of easy to follow guidelines, turn key if you will, to get the iniative started in many areas of the country so it can take off like a firestorm.
That way we can ship or send the information, guidelines, rules of procedure, and so on, to interested parties who are willing to wage the battle.
Upon finding the participants, I say we wait, and then have everybody strike at the same time, coupled, with mass mailings and correspondence to all of the independent websites and media companies.
I say we play to our base, and let it spread from there.
No reason to crack a nut, that we don't have a tool to do it with.
The main stream media, nor do the governer's of most states, have any interest in what we are doing, unless the public forces them to listen. |

It used to BE legal, therefore we need to have it RE-legalized.
IMO, it would be more effective to say, "re-legalize cannabis" instead of "legalize cannabis."
Just a thought.

I fully agree. By saying RE-legalize, it draws attention to the debacle of prohibition by asking "what was so bad that someone had to pass a law in the first place?". This is the plant that enabled civilization to be born. The plant that fed us, clothed us, kept us healthy and even provided for direct communion with out creator. And today our governments shun this gift from God and call it a curse.
Those who wish to learn about the reasons behind claiming the sacred herb is a 'devil weed with roots in hell' (to quote one piece of propaganda) quickly find that greed, racism, and hatred are at the base of the problem.
Cannabis prohibition is built on a lie, supported by more lies and by attacking and supressing the truth. _________________ The free exercise and enjoyment of religious profession and

Point taken.
How do we go about RE-legalizing hemp in our communities?
From a petitioning standpoint?
Things like............how many signatures are needed?
Things of that nature. I realize, obviously, that details vary from city to city, state to state.
But a good, general, starting overview could work massive wonders. |

Call your county election commission. That's what they're there for. Make 'me earn their money.
Oh...and plant a seed for religious purposes.

Do you think they would give me the proper information?
When winter hits, I think I am going to do some heavy networking.
And load up on Lawyer friends.
"Weed" through each one, and find out who wants to go "Pro Bono" and make a name for himself/herself.
Then I'll play. |

Most likely. It's at the county level.
It's usually 'people'd' by blue-haired old-lady type bureacrats...the same sort of folks you see working the DMV.
They've always given me exactly what I've asked for. To them, it's just a boring drone job, hopefully with retirement bennies at the end of their long, pointless journey.
The info your looking for is so frequently asked by everyone from every party and spectrum...
The "getting info" stage is not where you'll encounter opposition. It's later, when it comes to getting your sigs counted and validated that the BS begins.
If you need, say, 50,000 valid sigs...go for 80,000...because they'll try to bump you for bad sigs.
Don't take it personally. They try to bump everyone.
Bureacracy is like a form of mental illness.
