DETROIT OKS MEDICAL USE OF MARIJUANA
Decision Thrusts City into U.S. Spotlight; Legal Challenge Likely
City voters decided Tuesday that Detroiters with a doctor's prescription may
smoke marijuana, but that doesn't guarantee they could escape prosecution.
In a victory some consider more symbolic than substantive, Detroit voters
approved legalizing the drug for medical purposes, 59 percent to 41 percent, or
38,604 votes to 26,497. It's a ruling that's expected to face a legal
challenge.

No matter how much resistance each victory receives... it’s still a victory. And we need all of them we can get. Some folks might be tempted to belittle medical use victory’s... That would be wrong. One of the most used lies the other side uses it that Cannabis has no redeeming medical value... As that is more often proven false... the light is shined a little harder on the other untruths they tell about our Sacred Herb.

It is now that the kids of the 60's and 70's are coming of age to influence the vote and we all know better than the previous generation that pot is good and so helpfull it could save the forests we have left. Please if you can vote it is manditory!!!!! If your ballot has nothing about pot to vote for pick a canadate that thinks like us and vote for him it is a start. Enough like minded people in office and the war FOR pot gets easier.
