Tobacco smokers seem to be targetted too lately...
| Quote: |
Dear smoker or friend of smoker!
We have been penalised, long enough, it is time to fight back! If you are fed up of being ripped off by a British government, who continually
raise taxes on tobacco, take away your rights of freedom by banning smoking
in public places, and use their mafia style tactics and organisation; 'UK
Customs & Excise', to threaten and scare and lie to you, then it is time you
fought back!

We are even paying over 10.00 canadian a pack up here now-a-days, and my province has banned smoking in all public places, including...........................................GET THIS......BARS and LOUNGES!
It sucks and almost makes me want to quit! (ALMOST!) lol
The funny thing is, Big Brother claims he's taking these rights away for our own good and health. Granted this may be true, but they haven't really considered the fact that they don't want us all to quit smoking! If we all quit, where would the government hope to make up all that tax money they make off of our smokes.......after all, they don't cost $10 a pack to make and ship round the world......
Many governments complain about smokes but don't ever remember the amount of revenue the toebacky companies produce for thier corresponding governments through taxes and donations. If we stopped buying smokes, (REMEMBER THIS ALL YOU LOUD MOUTHED NON SMOKERS THAT COMPLAIN OPENLY ABOUT MY HABIT!!!!!!!!!) and everyone quit smoking tobbacco, the costs of EVERYTHING else will sky-rocket, property taxes will go through the roof, the costs of fines and well, everything else will go up too!
You see, the money that the government makes off of smokes will have to come from somewhere, and if it's not smokes, then it'll be something else that you guys would notice and likely complain about even louder than before....lol
I dunno about all of you, but I, myself, would rather deal with a little 2nd hand smoke than try and make up the financial losses through all the other taxes and fines in life......smokes aren't that bad, unhealthy-sure, but not that bad.....

Here, in the States, there are several large corporations who will fire employees for smoking....at HOME.
I keep saying, don't look for cosmetic similarities. The American Fascist Paradigm smells just like bubble-gum and hamburgers.
Bliss,

The trend against tobacco smokers has reached Europe. Sure there are some health issues. It's kind of funny and pathetic seeing so many people that are forced to have breaks from work and go outside to have a cigarette several times a day though. No banning for smoking tobacco in your home in force here yet, wherever you are employed. But I wonder how many working hours loss, companies make because of their employees having to go outside to lit up. The war on tobacco costs them money. _________________

I can sure see the logic of a company asking you to smoke on your own time, like only on your break but reaching into the homes is way out of line!
