I'm out of dried bud at the moment and was wondering if bud that has only been drying for 1 day could be used to cook with?
I want to make some "bhang lassi" today. I made it last week and would like to have some more today, if possible
TIA,

I wouldn't recommend doing anything with wet cannabis, Torkel.
But I will share a little trick that has worked for me in a pinch.
Put a small amount (1 to 2 grams) of God's great goodness into the microwave and cook it on Medium for only short bursts of 15 to 20 seconds until it becomes dry enough to be of use ... usually 2 or 3 shots depending on the amount.
Naturally, it will not compare with the results of properly cured herb, but hey, like I said ... it works well for those of us who just can't wait.

What stokes said has some truth. Here are the differences: When he heats his bud he activates the inactive cannibinoids that activate with heat. (Be careful that you don't over-heat it - you will drive some of the active ingredients out as vapor. ) When the bud is dried the flavor is mildly different and more like what you are used to. But, if you choose to use fresh herb it won't hurt you and you'll still get a dose of the THC.
BTW - eating bud is healthier than smoking it. But smoking it gives you that RUSH! _________________ Rollme-wan Mordoobie, the Redeyed Jedi

I believe you can cook with wet cannabis. Let us know how it works out. _________________ We will succeed unless we quit. |

Using wet cannabis will work, but not nearly as good as dried.
I got a decent body stone, but not like the first time I ate this which was made w/ the dry kind. _________________ Miller vs U.S. (230 F 2nd 486,489): "The claim and exercise of a Constitutional right cannot be converted into a crime."
