Maybe it's just me, but I think those ULC certificates are butt-ugly. They look like something a clerk at Kinko's through together from a clip-art kit.
http://www.prntrkmt.org/organization/certificate.html offers a much more beautiful certificate for the same donation ($25).
There aren't as many choices as we don't offer any of the Christian-centric titles -- but we do offer several ancient Egyptian titles that ULC doesn't.
The artwork for our certificate is breath-taking. It was created by MichaelM, an artist who has been a longtime hemp activist. MichaelM is best known for his artwork for the Marley family, his posters for hemp/cannabis relegalization, his goddess charcoals, and his hypervue paintings. _________________ http://www.prntrkmt.org/ |

Sorry to have offended you. That is the Udjat in the background.
The "all-seeing eye" was a misunderstanding created by the Masons. At the time the Masons created their Egyptian-based imagery there was nobody alive who could read hieroglyphs. The Masons made up a bunch of stuff based on the visuals of the artwork and claimed that their beliefs were from ancient Egypt.
The Udjat comes from the most central myth of the ancient Egyptian religion, the myth of Osiris and Isis (Asar and Aset in the native language). I will skip over the vast majority of this very long myth and jump to near the end.
There was a great battle between Horus (Heru Sa Aset in the native language) and Set (Seth in the native language). Set scratched or plucked out the eyes of Horus. The right eye was the sun. The left eye was the moon. This damage is reflected in nature as the setting of the sun and the phases of the moon.
More things happened during and after the great battle (skipped over here).
After the battle ended, Bast, the twin sister of Horus, went to her teacher, Thoth (Djehuti in the native language), and asked if he could heal the two deities. Thoth healed the eyes of Horus with so much magic power that the Udjat became a separate goddess. Note that you will also see this goddess called Buto or Wadjet (or slight variations on those names).
For those who don't know, Bast was the primary ancient Egyptian goddess of cannabis. The healing power that Thoth used to create the Udjat included cannabis!
So, the Udjat you see on the certificate does NOT carry the meanings assigned to the "all-seeing eye" of the Masons. _________________ http://www.prntrkmt.org/ |

In reading my previous post it occurred to me that I may have sounded overly harsh of the Masons.
My point was that the beliefs of the Masons were not supported by historical accuracy (they created their religion before modern humans figured out how to read ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs).
I want to be clear that I support the right for the Masons to believe anything they want to believe. Beliefs do not have to be scieintific or historically accurate.
I apologize if I have offended any Masons. _________________ http://www.prntrkmt.org/ |

Don't worry.
The only folks who are ever offended are people who get some sort of pay-off out of being offended. It's always a choice, and a rather silly one.

Makes sense, I guess...but it is awful eerie that you would chose such a symbol to represent your beliefs when it's common use today is as such. I doubt anyone here is going to take offense to your views about the masons. I doubt you'll find any of their friends and supporters at this ministry. Most are enlightened enough to recognize their existance and their position on worldly matters which are in direct contradiction for what our ministers want this world to be. _________________ -Brother Adam (we are all one family)

The reason for choosing the Udjat is because it is the symbol of divine healing in the ancient Egyptian religion and cannabis is the most powerful and most positive healing medication on the planet. _________________ http://www.prntrkmt.org/ |
