When you read this nonsense you should know
the following -

Two weeks BEFORE this report was published
the I.O.P announced on their site
( http://www.iop.kcl.ac.uk/news/?id=108 )
that the government gave the I.O.P. 12 Million Pounds
of tax-payers money for research and development.
One of the beneficiaries of this money was Professor
Robin Murray who set up a research program for -

"improving physical health and decreasing cannabis
abuse in people with severe mental illness."

Professor Murray then brought in Professors
Philip McGuire and Zerrin Atakan to find "scientific
proof" that Cannabis causes brain damage.

Because they are unable to do this they
use ambiguous and un-scientific miss-truths
to SUGGEST that it does.

This ensures that Prof.Murray and the I.O.P
do not loose their big fat tax bonanza and the
Government and its corporate pharmaceutical
backers get the answere they PAID for.

Professor McGuire is being paid a fortune
to present the findings of his 'research' to
"2nd International Cannabis and Mental
Health Conference"

where he will speak to
many experts who will accept whatever he says
because they would never dare contradict such
an esteemed 'scientist' .That is simply not done
in the academic world.

And that my brothers and sisters , is how 'science'
works.That is how a lie can become accepted
scientific fact.

i am ashamed to admit that i once embarked upon
a scientific career , until i discovered that it was
mostly based on lies funded by institutions and
corporations with a vested interest.They pay these
'scientists' to find whatever answere they want.

A) "psychosis" -
means stoned or high.It DOES NOT refer
to a genuine mental disorder or illness , it simply means
that the normal pattern of activity in the mind or brain
has been affected.ie...Use Cannabis and you will
get stoned or high TEMPORARILY.This is what these
people mean when they speak of 'Temporary Psychosis.'

B) "for a minority there exists the possibly of long-term damage
from modern skunk."-
Don't worry , this simply means that
they found NO EVIDENCE of ANY damage caused by 'skunk'.
The expression "there exists the possiblity" has absolutely NO
scientific or clinical meaning.It just means that , although their is
no scientific proof he believes it to be so.If there was proof of
damage , he would of course have made a big deal out of it.
This is like saying that if you step on the cracks in the pavement
"there exists the possibilty" of having your brain sucked out
by inter-gallactic brain pirates from the 9th dimension.

C) "schizophrenia-like symptoms." -
More ambiguous and unscientific jibberish.This means that
when people are under the influence of Cannabis Sacrament
they may act differently than when they are not.

D) "Conference organiser Professor Robin Murray says experts
on the whole accept that cannabis contributes to the onset
of psychotic symptoms in general and schizophrenia, and it
is no longer a contentious issue."
Proffessor Murray is , at best , grossly ill-informed and at
worst deliberately trying to mislead people.it is unfortunate
that he is unaware of the fact that the vast majority of
independant scientists know that Cannabis is harmless
and is in fact beneficial to human beings.Even the majority of
his own collegues think Cannabis should be legalized!

E) "Professor McGuire says the THC appeared to switch
off the part of the brain that is associated with how
paranoid people become."
"Although the effects were short-lived, some people
appeared more vulnerable than others."
Note the use of the word "appeared."What does this mean?
In fact , it means nothing.It is ambiguous and misleading.
As it was INTENDED to be!

F) "The researchers gave Tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)"
CANNABIS WAS NOT USED IN THIS 'EXPERIMENT'.
The substance used was a chemical copy of THC
manufactured by a pharmaceutical corporation.Canabis
has more than 149 different compounds in it , all of which
act synergistically (ie.They act together and alter how each-
other effects the body and mind.)This fact alone makes this
research completely scientifically invalid.

G) Nowhere in this so called scientific research do the esteemed
professors say that Cannabis causes mental illness.There is NO
scientific proof in this piece of 'research'.Instead there is a series
of misleading , ambiguous phrases such as "appeared" , "may be",
"would not be at all surprising if..." , "estimate that...", "was likely" ,
"could lead to..." etc etc etc.How does this pass as science?!

I will not call these two professors liars , because they were
very careful NOT to claim that they had found any proof that
Cannabis is harmful.Nowhere in this masterful and
carefully worded piece of deception and misrepresentation
have they presented any scientific , historic or anecdotal
evidence to prove that Cannabis causes psychological ,
physical or neurological damage of any kind.

The countries with the highest proportionate incidence
of mental illness ARE NOT the countries with the highest
level of Cannabis use.the OPPOSITE is true.
AND THAT IS A STATISTICAL , SCIENTIFIC FACT.
Is Amsterdam over-run with mentaly ill people? NO!
Is India and the entire Asian continent over-run with
mentaly ill people? NO!

Cannabis Sativa has been consumed by BILLIONS of
people for thousands of years , and not one single human
being has ever been harmed or killed by using Cannabis.
AND THAT IS AN HISTORICAL , SCIENTIFIC FACT.

One has only to look at the 5,400 years of documented ,
historical proof from every continent on earth to see this.

I object , in the strongest possible terms , to this gross
misuse of my tax money.My taxes are taken from me
without my consultation or permission and i only accept
this fact on the understanding that the public servants
charged with administering those moneys do so in the
interests of society in general.

At no time do i expect or accept that those moneys will be
used to mislead the general public or be used for the
purpose of protecting the vested interest of private
corporations or those of any other body or institution.

Under no circumstance do i expect moneys raised from
my taxes to be used as an excuse for criminalising or
incarcerating any person for using , possessing or growing
Cannabis.

At no time and under no circumstances do i accept that
my tax moneys be used to attack my Religious beliefs.

Cannabis is a Sacrament and an intrinsic and
inseparable part of my religion and i insist that my tax
money is not used to violate my rights under Article 18
of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights proclaimed
by the General Assembly of the United Nations on
10th December 1948 ( Article 217A (111) ) and
Article 9 and Article 13 and Article 14 and Article 17
of the European Convention on Human Rights 1950
( the Convention for the Protection of Human Rights
and Fundamental Freedoms as amended by
Protocol No. 11) , Rome, 4.XI.1950.

Please cease and desist immediately all activities
which violate my right to worship my religion freely.
Furthermore , please cease and desist from defaming ,
insulting , and misrepresenting the Holy Cannabis
Sacrament which is a sacred gift to humanity and
is central to the core beliefs of my Religion.

I hope you will be able to understand that if you
do not cease your attacks upon my Religious
beliefs you will leave me with no alternative but
to persue this matter in the high courts and
the appropriate international courts beyond.

Please do not underestimate my determination
to defend my Religion.I have no desire to contend
against you or anyone else.I merely wish that my
beliefs be respected and that i be allowed to worship
my religion in peace , in privacy and without
interference.

I read that part about the frontal part of the brain being 'turned off'. This is very possibly true, but does NOT mean that it is a bad thing.

That Hoama allows this to happen is DESIRABLE. If you have been programmed to placidly stand in line and find your carry-on luggage while the plane is burning, (because your frontal brain parts are the parts that tell you to do as you have been trained)...that is not nearly as good as the guy who has his frontal part temporarily turned off and is bailing over seats and passing those who are stuck in the 'frontal brain' mode.

If the Nazi's are telling you to fold your clothes and stack them neatly for your return from the 'showers', you would probably have more chance if you are not following your 'frontal brain'. At least you would be able to think of something constructive to do or let the survival instinct have a go, rather than 'following directions'.
