They are refferences to, the building of altars for burt offerings, times to offer ur burnt offerings, and incense. Many say they meant meat by burnt offerings, (what if they dodnt eat meat)and they also mention meat offerings and peace offerings right next to burnt offering scriptures.

420reverend,

High,

I think You wanted to make that Gen. 1:29-30. (instead of Gen. 2:29-30)

Also, notice that’s the very 1st page of the Bible, where God indicates He created all the seed bearing plants saying they are all good.

-0-

I also like Gen. 2:9, “Out of the ground the LORD God caused to grow every tree that is pleasing to the sight and good for food; the tree of life also…,” because the tree of life is cannabis / kaneh bosm.

Notice what the very last page of the Bible says about the tree of life; Rev. 22:2, “in the middle of its street On either side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit every month; and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”

Investigate more about the tree of life and You will find Rev. 2:7 is highly interesting; “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches To him who overcomes (I believe that means –overcome evil and LOVE ONE ANOTHER- see John 14-16 & 1 John), I will grant to eat of the tree of life which is in the Paradise of God.”

Also, look at the rest of what the last page of the Bible says about the tree of life.

-0-

Additionally, You may already be aware that in Exodus 30:23 the use of “fragrant cane” in the New American Standard Bible and “sweet calamus” in the King James Version, is a mistranslation from the original Pre-Semitic Hebrew origins of kaneh bosm. In 1936 a Polish etymologist discovered that kaneh bosm is the scriptural origins of cannabis in the Bible that was mistranslated before the King James Version. In 1980 Hebrew University in Jerusalem confirmed this information to be true. Now We know the holy anointing oil recipe in Exodus 30:23 +- calls for 9 pounds of cannabis. Kaneh bosm has been mistranslated in 5 locations.

One God awesome insight the Old Testament gives Us is that cannabis prohibition is labeled, “Sin of the Priests” in the last book of the Old Testament. Malachi 1:6-14; as it is subtitled, “Sin of the Priests” in the NASB http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?book_id=46&chapter=1&version=49

I like the New American Standard Bible. Love it, really.

-0-

The Bible helps expose cannabis prohibition as luciferous and exposes the obedient Christian from the disobedient Christian.

It shows Us that cannabis prohibition, persecution and extermination may be considered the original living sin, since God created it and told Us it’s good in the 1st page: the beginning…

If the devil was going to separate people from God, He wouldn’t wait till page 420; He’d do that on the very 1st page and that’s what We have. Cannabis prohibitionists are stumbling starting on the very 1st page of the Bible. By time people get to page 3 where We have the subject of killing / murder with Cain and Abel, people are already lost; -just like what We have huh?

If people want to fix the problems of this planet, We must go back to the root of the problem and that’s page 1. Cannabis prohibition is the Biblical root of all problems.

The Bible keeps revealing the truth; there's more.

I noticed You are from Colorado. I’m in the Colorado HIGH country; Hello.

I belive , Religion is about your perception of the spiritual world and the now,you are in. The bible is not rules and regulations to follow it is a ancient gathering of peoples insight to the holyworld it is no more a compilation of stories to read and get what u ned out of it.
Kinda like a fable, As one of my holyest people said to meas a kid, God is no morethan an imaginary friend(conceince) for adults to keep us from doing bad.

David,

To some extent that is true.

A reason where it does help Us understand with out asking the one who wrote it is the example We have, where Christians decide to do things based on what it says in the Bible but do not obey it.

Some things are clear and don't need interpretation some are less clear and need interpretation.

Exaples:

Jesus Christ says love one another. An innocent child realizes that would not and could not include killing someone or caging someone for using what God says is good on the 1st page of the Bible.

We may not need to ask the writer of the Bible what they meant when We're told God created all the plants saying they are all good on the 1st page of the Owners Manual.

-0-

Keep in mind, the Christ taught Us about the "spirit of truth" in John 14-16 and 1 John, which He claims will teach Us all things, if We obey Him and love one another. I testify that spirit of truth is real and works just as described. It then is a way to not only ask what the writers meant but ask the Christ Himself, which is who the writers were speaking of in the New. We can ask Christ what He meant.

I have spent years asking the Christ about cannabis prohibition, persecution and extermination to find out what He says, what He means, what He meant and how that compares with what is said in the law and He has helped Me know the truth.

It has been helpful.

It has helped know who is an obedient Christian and who is disobedient.

It has helped understand the war / killing / murder issue as well.

I am sure that if the Christ new about Priests and Choirboys he would have found the necessity to include an interpretation, but that would need a whole book

Love should be between people who love each other, and not love thy enemy.

Sorry got to diverse; My daughter just said to my stressed wife, "mum" my wife said or should I say raised her voice "WHAT",my 4 year old daughter said in her sweet voice, "what will make you happy"(she wants an ice cream or bluntly, sugar) well I just hit the floor saying "how guilty do you feel". I keep telling her only dads can raise their voices

Back to topic;
I think he should have said, "do not hate your enemy so much that it engulfs your life". But there I go interpretating something that others may or may not need interpretating,
I do not believe you have to 'love everyone', that is open for misinterpretation.
We may not need to ask the writer of the Bible what they meant when We're told God created all the plants saying they are all good on the 1st page of the Owners Manual.
'Deadly night shade' comes to mind.
Keep in mind, the Christ taught Us about the "spirit of truth"
EVERYONE LIES, but we cover that with "its a white lie" or "I forgot about that".
I testify that spirit of truth is real and works just as described.
I and many others can testify it doesn't. 'Jesus will save you' this is too open, he won't personally, he's dead. Can I say that? I hope I won't get banned? it is the truth!
I have spent years asking the Christ about cannabis prohibition
I hope he didn't reply, I have been asked by psychiatrist if I hear voices, I reply "what like Abraham and god, no, I'm not schizophrenic".
It has helped know who is an obedient Christian and who is disobedient.
Don't judge others unless you are prepared to be judged yourself, and remember you may not get the judgment you expect.
It has helped understand the war / killing / murder issue as well.
No, I believe it has taught you not to question, but only you can know that, there is only one answer to that question, 'fight for survival', but Jesus never mentioned that.

Quote:
I Kings - I Samuel

9:25 Three times a year Solomon sacrificed burnt offerings and fellowship offerings on the altar he had built for the LORD, burning incense before the LORD along with them, and so fulfilled the temple obligations.

8:64 On that same day the king consecrated the middle part of the courtyard in front of the temple of the LORD, and there he offered burnt offerings, grain offerings and the fat of the fellowship offerings, because the bronze altar before the LORD was too small to hold the burnt offerings, the grain offerings and the fat of the fellowship offerings.

I Samuel - Judges

16:13 So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and from that day on the Spirit of the LORD came upon David in power. Samuel then went to Ramah.

13:9 So he said, "Bring me the burnt offering and the fellowship offerings. " And Saul offered up the burnt offering. 10 Just as he finished making the offering, Samuel arrived, and Saul went out to greet him.

Judges - Joshua

14:15 On the fourth day, they said to Samson's wife, "Coax your husband into explaining the riddle for us, or we will burn you and your father's household to death. Did you invite us here to rob us? 16 Then Samson's wife threw herself on him, sobbing, "You hate me! You don't really love me. You've given my people a riddle, but you haven't told me the answer." "I haven't even explained it to my father or mother," he replied, "so why should I explain it to you?"

6:23 But the LORD said to him, "Peace! Do not be afraid. You are not going to die." 24 So Gideon built an altar to the LORD there and called it The LORD is Peace. To this day it stands in Ophrah of the Abiezrites. 25 That same night the LORD said to him, "Take the second bull from your father's herd, the one seven years old. Tear down your father's altar to Baal and cut down the Asherah pole beside it.

Joshua - Deutoronomy

8:30 Then Joshua built on Mount Ebal an altar to the LORD, the God of Israel, 31 as Moses the servant of the LORD had commanded the Israelites. He built it according to what is written in the Book of the Law of Moses—an altar of uncut stones, on which no iron tool had been used. On it they offered to the LORD burnt offerings and sacrificed fellowship offerings.

27:5 Build there an altar to the LORD your God, an altar of stones. Do not use any iron tool upon them. 6 Build the altar of the LORD your God with fieldstones and offer burnt offerings on it to the LORD your God. 7 Sacrifice fellowship offerings there, eating them and rejoicing in the presence of the LORD your God.

26:1 When you have entered the land the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance and have taken possession of it and settled in it, 2 take some of the firstfruits of all that you produce from the soil of the land the LORD your God is giving you and put them in a basket. Then go to the place the LORD your God will choose as a dwelling for his Name 3 and say to the priest in office at the time, "I declare today to the LORD your God that I have come to the land the LORD swore to our forefathers to give us." 4 The priest shall take the basket from your hands and set it down in front of the altar of the LORD your God.

Deutoronomy - Numbers

12:6 there bring your burnt offerings and sacrifices, your tithes and special gifts, what you have vowed to give and your freewill offerings, and the firstborn of your herds and flocks. 7 There, in the presence of the LORD your God, you and your families shall eat and shall rejoice in everything you have put your hand to, because the LORD your God has blessed you. 13 Be careful not to sacrifice your burnt offerings anywhere you please. 14 Offer them only at the place the LORD will choose in one of your tribes, and there observe everything I command you.

29:13 Present an offering made by fire as an aroma pleasing to the LORD, a burnt offering of thirteen young bulls, two rams and fourteen male lambs a year old, all without defect. 16 Include one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the regular burnt offering with its grain offering and drink offering.

28:2 "Give this command to the Israelites and say to them: 'See that you present to me at the appointed time the food for my offerings made by fire, as an aroma pleasing to me.' 3 Say to them: 'This is the offering made by fire that you are to present to the LORD : two lambs a year old without defect, as a regular burnt offering each day.

15:3 and you present to the LORD offerings made by fire, from the herd or the flock, as an aroma pleasing to the LORD -whether burnt offerings or sacrifices, for special vows or freewill offerings or festival offerings-

Numbers - Leviticus

9:15 On the day the tabernacle, the Tent of the Testimony, was set up, the cloud covered it. From evening till morning the cloud above the tabernacle looked like fire.

23:10 "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'When you enter the land I am going to give you and you reap its harvest, bring to the priest a sheaf of the first grain you harvest.

8:21 He washed the inner parts and the legs with water and burned the whole ram on the altar as a burnt offering, a pleasing aroma, an offering made to the LORD by fire, as the LORD commanded Moses.

6:9 "Give Aaron and his sons this command: 'These are the regulations for the burnt offering: The burnt offering is to remain on the altar hearth throughout the night, till morning, and the fire must be kept burning on the altar.

5:10 The priest shall then offer the other as a burnt offering in the prescribed way and make atonement for him for the sin he has committed, and he will be forgiven.

3:1 " 'If someone's offering is a fellowship offering, and he offers an animal from the herd, whether male or female, he is to present before the LORD an animal without defect. 2 He is to lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. Then Aaron's sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood against the altar on all sides. 3 From the fellowship offering he is to bring a sacrifice made to the LORD by fire: all the fat that covers the inner parts or is connected to them, 4 both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the covering of the liver, which he will remove with the kidneys. 5 Then Aaron's sons are to burn it on the altar on top of the burnt offering that is on the burning wood, as an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD. 6 " 'If he offers an animal from the flock as a fellowship offering to the LORD, he is to offer a male or female without defect. 7 If he offers a lamb, he is to present it before the LORD. 8 He is to lay his hand on the head of his offering and slaughter it in front of the Tent of Meeting. Then Aaron's sons shall sprinkle its blood against the altar on all sides. 9 From the fellowship offering he is to bring a sacrifice made to the LORD by fire: its fat, the entire fat tail cut off close to the backbone, all the fat that covers the inner parts or is connected to them, 10 both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the covering of the liver, which he will remove with the kidneys. 11 The priest shall burn them on the altar as food, an offering made to the LORD by fire. 12 " 'If his offering is a goat, he is to present it before the LORD. 13 He is to lay his hand on its head and slaughter it in front of the Tent of Meeting. Then Aaron's sons shall sprinkle its blood against the altar on all sides. 14 From what he offers he is to make this offering to the LORD by fire: all the fat that covers the inner parts or is connected to them, 15 both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the covering of the liver, which he will remove with the kidneys. 16 The priest shall burn them on the altar as food, an offering made by fire, a pleasing aroma. All the fat is the LORD's. 17 " 'This is a lasting ordinance for the generations to come, wherever you live: You must not eat any fat or any blood.' "

Leviticus - Exodus

1:1 The LORD called to Moses and spoke to him from the Tent of Meeting. He said, 2 "Speak to the Israelites and say to them: 'When any of you brings an offering to the LORD, bring as your offering an animal from either the herd or the flock.
3 " 'If the offering is a burnt offering from the herd, he is to offer a male without defect. He must present it at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting so that it will be acceptable to the LORD. 4 He is to lay his hand on the head of the burnt offering, and it will be accepted on his behalf to make atonement for him. 5 He is to slaughter the young bull before the LORD, and then Aaron's sons the priests shall bring the blood and sprinkle it against the altar on all sides at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting. 6 He is to skin the burnt offering and cut it into pieces. 7 The sons of Aaron the priest are to put fire on the altar and arrange wood on the fire. 8 Then Aaron's sons the priests shall arrange the pieces, including the head and the fat, on the burning wood that is on the altar. 9 He is to wash the inner parts and the legs with water, and the priest is to burn all of it on the altar. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD. 10 " 'If the offering is a burnt offering from the flock, from either the sheep or the goats, he is to offer a male without defect. 11 He is to slaughter it at the north side of the altar before the LORD, and Aaron's sons the priests shall sprinkle its blood against the altar on all sides. 12 He is to cut it into pieces, and the priest shall arrange them, including the head and the fat, on the burning wood that is on the altar. 13 He is to wash the inner parts and the legs with water, and the priest is to bring all of it and burn it on the altar. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD. 14 " 'If the offering to the LORD is a burnt offering of birds, he is to offer a dove or a young pigeon. 15 The priest shall bring it to the altar, wring off the head and burn it on the altar; its blood shall be drained out on the side of the altar. 16 He is to remove the crop with its contents and throw it to the east side of the altar, where the ashes are. 17 He shall tear it open by the wings, not severing it completely, and then the priest shall burn it on the wood that is on the fire on the altar. It is a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.

40:5 Place the gold altar of incense in front of the ark of the Testimony and put the curtain at the entrance to the tabernacle. 6 "Place the altar of burnt offering in front of the entrance to the tabernacle, the Tent of Meeting; 27 and burned fragrant incense on it, as the LORD commanded him.

38:1 They built the altar of burnt offering of acacia wood, three cubits high; it was square, five cubits long and five cubits wide.

37:25 They made the altar of incense out of acacia wood. It was square, a cubit long and a cubit wide, and two cubits high — its horns of one piece with it.

30:23 "Take the following fine spices: 500 shekels of liquid myrrh, half as much (that is, 250 shekels) of fragrant cinnamon, 250 shekels of fragrant cane, 24 500 shekels of cassia—all according to the sanctuary shekel—and a hind of olive oil. 25 Make these into a sacred anointing oil, a fragrant blend, the work of a perfumer. It will be the sacred anointing oil. 26 Then use it to anoint the Tent of Meeting, the ark of the Testimony,

14:19 Then the angel of God, who had been traveling in front of Israel's army, withdrew and went behind them. The pillar of cloud also moved from in front and stood behind them, 20 coming between the armies of Egypt and Israel. Throughout the night the cloud brought darkness to the one side and light to the other side; so neither went near the other all night long.

13:21 By day the LORD went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or night. 22 Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people.

Exodus - Genesis

3:2 There the angel of the LORD appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. 3 So Moses thought, "I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up."
4 When the LORD saw that he had gone over to look, God called to him from within the bush, "Moses! Moses!" And Moses said, "Here I am." 5 "Do not come any closer," God said. "Take off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground."

35:13 Then God went up from him at the place where he had talked with him. 14 Jacob set up a stone pillar at the place where God had talked with him, and he poured out a drink offering on it; he also poured oil on it.

24:63 He went out to the field one evening to meditate, and as he looked up, he saw camels approaching. 64 Rebekah also looked up and saw Isaac. She got down from her camel.

9:2 The fear and dread of you will fall upon all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air, upon every creature that moves along the ground, and upon all the fish of the sea; they are given into your hands. 3 Everything that lives and moves will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything.

2:9 And the LORD God made all kinds of trees grow out of the ground—trees that were pleasing to the eye and good for food. In the middle of the garden were the tree of life and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

1:11 Then God said, "Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land that bear fruit with seed in it, according to their various kinds." 29 Then God said, "I give you every seed-bearing plant on the face of the whole earth and every tree that has fruit with seed in it. They will be yours for food. 30 And to all the beasts of the earth and all the birds of the air and all the creatures that move on the ground—everything that has the breath of life in it—I give every green plant for food." And it was so.

what is the aroma that is called "pleasing to the Lord"?

It states specifically:

1) annoint the meeting tent and the altar for the Ark of the Testimony: 500Sh liquid myrrh, 250Sh cinammon, 250Sh fragrant cane, 500Sh of cassia, 1H of olive oil.

2) construct the two altars inside the meeting tent.
a) the altar of incense: made of acacia wood, 1X1X2
b) the altar of burnt offering: acacia wood, 3X5X5

3) conceal the incense altar before the Ark within the meeting tent. Begin to burn incense on it.

4) place the burnt offering altar outside the meeting tent. The closed tent is called a "Tabernacle."

5) the burnt offering outside the Tabernacle consists of:
a) take a 1st born male or female sheep or goat. Place your hand upon the head of your own firstborn offspring and slaughter the animal.
b) the innards of the animal, particularly: the entire fat tail cut off close to the backbone, all the fat that covers the inner-parts or is connected to them, both kidneys with the fat on them near the loins, and the covering of the liver.
c) before the closed Tabernacle entrance, the Priest of Aaron then cooks this fat on the altar of the burnt offering, and stokes the fire all night.
d) the smell of this cooking fat is called "pleasing to the Lord". This "pleasing aroma" is synonimous with the "cloud of fire" that accompanied the Israelites on their Exodus.

This process was to be practised twice a year as freewill (firstfruit) offerings and festival (or fellowship) offerings. Those performing it brought grain offerings and drink offerings for the fellowship offering as well as paid the priests sacrifical animals or animal fat for the burnt offering.

During his trip up Mt. SInai while leading the Hebrew Exodus, Moses performed this ritual using a burnt offering of 13 male calves, 2 rams, 14 male lambs and Included as the sin offering 1 male goat. The altar he built for the burnt offering was of uncut stones, touched by no iron tool.

Later, another altar was built by Joshua in this manner, and later another by Gideon, who was further instructed to tear down his father's temple altar (to Baal, ie. for the burnt offering) and cut down the Asherah pole beside it. Gideon then built an altar of his own that he called The Lord is Peace, which "still stands in Ophrah of the Abiezrites." There Gideon sacrificed his father's second herd-bull, aged 7 years.

The presumeable goal and desired result of this specific injunction as given to the people by Moses, on behalf of God, during the Exodus, was to simulate the same effect as Moses experienced in the form of the bush that burned but that was not consumed. When Moses first experienced this phenomenon, he was instructed by the Lord to remove his sandals on Holy Ground.

We see that the experience of Moses with the "burning bush" is also very similar to the experience of Jacob, who erected an altar in the form of a stone pillar and poured a drink and oil offering onto it.

We also see, by understanding the burnt offering's purpose as to produce an aroma "pleasing to the Lord," that in the spot where the burnt offering is made, the following result will be that "all kinds of trees" grow from that Holy Ground. These trees are both "pleasing to the eye" and "good for food." Likewise, all those animals of ground, sea and air fed on the seeds and fruit of these "trees" become suitable food for mankind. This is later added to by the Covenant to never eat animal fat or drink blood.

The premise of the two "trees" in the "middle" of the Garden, the tree of life and the tree of knowledge of good and evil, refer to the twin aspects of cannibus sativa, those being the THC and the cannibinoidiol components of the plant, which, by bonding to our natural brain-chemistry, positively effect our nervous-system and tissue cell-growth, respectively. The "trees" were said to have been created on the Third Day of the first week of the Genesis.

Thus, in briefer terms, the purpose of the burnt offering, with its specific animal fat and myrrh oil ingredients, is actually a recipe for fertilising soil into "Holy Ground," from which will grow forth "all sorts of trees," "every plant for food" for "everything that has the breath of life in it," and in particular the twin, interwoven genes of the cannibis and sativa components of the marijuana plant.

And, again to be as brief as humanly possible, the purpose of creating this "alien craft"-like device, this complex "machine" system of a burnt offering "pleasing to the Lord" outside a Tabernacle Tent internally iluminated by incense burned "before the Ark of Testimony," was more than to simply lure in the masses as like the burning bush had Moses. It is meant as an act of consecration of the soil that produces the growth of "every seed bearing plant," but in particular that which carries the double-helix of both "life" and of "knowledge of good and evil."

Whether or not this process of fertilising the soil with burnt animal fat and myrrh oil truly works to yield a harvest of actual marijuana would be a conjecture best left to scientific testing to ascertain. Nonetheless, this practise of generating a "pillar of cloud" by day and a "pillar of fire" by night can be viewed metaphorically as an act of creation on par with the creative genius of God's Third Day of Genesis.

PEACE.
