One more poll on line about cannabis reclassification in the UK. This time on the Daily Mail on line. I have to say that comparing with other news agencies this particular paper has got a rather anti-cannabis approach. When it's cannabis news, it is usually bad news. Just have a look at this link to see what I mean:
Cannabis News According to the Daily Mail
I never buy that newspaper myself, but today during my lunch break I browsed a copy that was left on the table by a collegue. The article emphasised the damage of the two years long Labourist policy on Cannabis and its re-classification from substance B to C. In the author opinion the softer approach brought a significant increase in a dangerous teen-age consume of cannabis.
The readers were encouraged to go on line and cast their vote. They were asked, "Should cannabis laws be strengthened again?"
have your say here and see what the people think! _________________

That's a major statement, Echo. The more they lie, the more credibility they lose.
Despite all of the negative press being masqueraded as news, the will of the people will prevail.
It looks to me like the American government isn't the only one with an obvious agenda ... Thanks for sharing this. _________________ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Yes 274 24.36 %
No 851 75.64 %
The numbers have changed
What with the gun violence they have had in Toronto with guns that have came from the US I think the Canadians should extradite the owners of the gun stores and the presidnets of the gun manufacturors who sold the guns used in the crimes. |

thanks echo
another good find.
you raise a very good point.the mail is a well known right wing rag that has been accused of all sorts of prejudices in the past.
the funny thing is , the ordinary folk seem to be waking up.when i was at college (a thousnd and 3 years ago)we conducted a street poll.a slim majority were in favour of legalisation.
yet despit an avalanche of dis-information and hysteria people seem to be waking up to the truth about cannabis.its as though the media went too far with their lies and now people have woken up to that fact.a sort of reverse psychology.
i suppose there is hope for old blighty yet!!now if i can get up off my lazy ass and present my hemp fuel idea (not mine actualy) maybe it will help to swing peoples opinion even further in the right direction.nothing like a few pound signs to galvanise peoples resolution!
thanks for another positive post.
respect to you.
peace.
