Cannabis may lower blood pressure
A chemical compound found in cannabis, also known as hashish or marijuana, may help lower blood pressure, say scientists after testing it on rats.
Yehoshua Maor, a researcher at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel, has created a synthetic version of a minor cannabis constituent named cannabigerol, which has been shown to help in lowering blood pressure, reported science portal The News Medical. Maor carried out laboratory experiments with rats and found that this novel compound reduced blood pressure when administered to rats in relatively low doses.
The additional tests carried out by him also showed that the compound brought about another beneficial effect — relaxation of the blood vessels. The compounds produced an anti-inflammatory response.

I'd say that it absolutely lowers blood pressure, and acts as a vaso-dilator, allowing blood to flow more easily, putting less strain in the heart muscle.
Remember...Just like The Terminator, I, too, am a CyBorg... a Cybernetic Organism...living tissue over metal and plastic...
...OK...well...mostly living tissue...very little metal and plastic ...
I'm battery-powered. I have a pace-maker/defibrilator implant...why, just like Dick Cheney!! (Unlike Dick Cheney, however, people want me to live.)
If I'm having angina (basic heart pain) a couple of puffs of Cannabis eases it immediately.
I'm convinced that Cannabis is why I'm faring so much better than many others with my same 'condition' ...
It's also the perfect geriatric medicine for those little aches and pains that are so common.

Bona fide declaration about the beneficial aspects of cannabis as a medicine.
A few months ago I had a severe bout with bronchitis (or similar) that almost completely vanished after taking a marinol ball. It was like a miracle to the wife & I... clear breathing even while lying down.
And a week or so ago I jammed my little toe into a lamp stand (ouch!)
that resulted with extreme inflamation and pain. Marinol reduced the swelling dramatically and lessened the pain too.
Cannabis bud has even quicker and better results than the synthetic marinol - no contest...
I would have preferred the sacrament; however one uses what he/she has in their hands.
We don't need no more research, we don't need more forced control...
Peace,

I woke up last night due to pain in that toe.
When I arose from my bed a thought came into my mind...
the holy annointing oil
I didn't think there was any left in my bottle; however, after checking I saw there was indeed several drops that remained in the bottom.
I poured the oil on the injured toe/surrounding area and immediately experienced significant deliverance from the pain!
Marinol is better than nothing, but does not have the healing powers of Roger's HAO.
That's settled.
Peace,
