I was in my late 30s when I first used of Cannabis. I was given a joint for medical reasons, but the experience was quite spiritual. That's how I still judge the best medicine for me - If it makes me feel closer to my spirit.
My personal story is at http://www.angelfire.com/la/kaylee/depression.html
It wasn't until I was in my 50s that I realized I wasn't the only one for whom cannabis is medicine and spiritual awareness. Thank God for this plant!

Amen to that!
It's also a great geriatric tonic!
...and as an aid to spirituality...it rocks!

Thank you so very, very much for sharing your experience. You are so right we all need to speek out. This God given gift is kept from so many that could have their lives turned around. Thank you again, and God bless you. _________________ The spiritual journey is individual, highly personal. It can't be organized or regulated. It isn't true that everybody should follow one path. I see you are from Key West. I don't know how long you've lived there but a few years back I was secretary, caregiver, friend to Joe Hart, who ran the Key West Buyer's Club. It was a joy to help him. Joe was busted and had to fight the law, but not long before his death, he beat them and his case was thrown out. He lived with AIDS for 16 years but died of multiple myaloma in only 8 months. Joe, an old decorated military man, was fond of quoting, "Defeat is not an option!" and if you knew Joe Hart you knew he absolutely meant it. I miss Key West. _________________ Kay Lee

Hi Kaylee...I only know Joe by reputation.
These days, it's a matter of "my heart is in Key West, but my Cardiologist is in Palm Beach County."
I miss Key West, too. The world largest outdoor lunatic asylum.
