Today in Vancouver, Lawyers Against the War filed torture charges against George W. Bush under the Canadian Criminal Code. The charges were laid by Gail Davidson, co-chair of Lawyers against the War--LAW, under provisions enacted pursuant to the U.N. Torture Convention, ratified by both Canada and the United States.
The charges concern the well known abuses of prisoners held by US Armed Forces in the Abu Ghraib prison in Iraq and the Guantánamo Bay prison in Cuba. The charges were accepted by the Justice of the Peace and referred for a hearing to decide whether Bush should be required to appear for trial.
The Attorney General of Canada's consent is required within eight days for proceedings to continue, and the question of Bush's diplomatic immunity will have to be resolved by the court.

I don't think we will ever see the day sister. Not to be negative or anything but I remember how Belgium was forced to change their laws to prevent a lawsuit against Bush and Blair for war crimes.

Yes, by dang, boy-george & his gestapo administration must be held accountable AND be punished, NOW!!!
I stated in another post here a week or so ago that our neighbors to the north...Canada, better watch out, because boy-george wants your oil!!!

Because 80% of ALL U.S. media outlets are owned by 6 corporations. They control what we see and hear.
World domination begins at home.
We don't hear any real news, anymore. We don't hear about peace demonstrations (so I guess there aren't any?)
What do we hear about every night? A local murder in Modesto, CA, that happened 2 years ago...? Tragic, yes...but is it a national story? How many local murders took place between then and now...?
A scuffle at a NBA basketball game...?
These are what the American public hears in the way of news.
Oh...and that the U.S. is "making progress" in Iraq.
More than 40% of all Americans still think that Iraq was directly responsible for 9-11....and almost nobody is willing even think that, perhaps, 9-11 was not an intelligence failure...but, rather a phenomonal intel success, orchestrated by the CEO's of Slavery, Inc.
Oh, well. I do go on....

Dunno, but somehow I doubt that CNN article is real. That 'black eye' looks a lot like that pretzel thing he had before and apart from this article I have not seen any other source with this 'news'. Usually CNN is lying anyway.

That URL turns out to 'look like' the CNN website URL but it isn't, it's a hoax. I just found out.
It did fool Google news alerts.

Bush just came back from Canada why didn't they arrest him and put him in a cell and torture him. America is becoming a BIG police state!! There are no rights since the patriot act, oh yes 1 left, we have the right to set down and shut up!!
